We had a warm welcome, and were shown several recliner chairs which we said we were looking for. After making sure the recliner was the correct fit and materials were chosen, the paper work was easily done. There was no pressure on the visit to the shop and the female staff member was very helpful

I have bought 2 chairs from HSL Romford. HSL Romford is a shop I always like to visit. The staff are friendly and welcoming. They are knowledgeable about their products and give good advice. This time I was unable to visit the store so ordered over the phone. I found the whole process to be reassuringly easy as the assistant talked me carefully through the procedure.

Ladies at Romford branch were very knowledgeable on the products and made sure we chose the right product for our needs.

Helen in the Romford Roneo Corner store was fantastic. She welcomed my mum into the store, listened well to what she required, suggested a number of options to try until mum found what she liked. The other girls offered help and advice too without pressure. Mum was able to take her time to ensure she was completely satisfied. Ordering was completed with all the processes explained clearly. We would like to thank Helen as despite being in the store for about three hours the experience was not stressful in any way and my mum left happy.

We were really well looked after but not pressured. We were checked for which size of chair fitted us best, shown the various different recliners. The ladies gave us time to browse and choose which chairs we wanted to have and then helped us choose the fabric and provided larger swatches of material so we could see clearer how the chairs would look. They were extremely helpful and friendly without overstepping any boundaries.

Ann at Romford branch very pleasant and helpful when we visited on Thursday 19 March. Was very thorough in taking order and making sure we had exactly what we wanted. Thank you Anne.

The two Lady staff who helped me with the purchase of my Recliner chair were excellent throughout the process.

We visited the Romford sales room today where we were cordially welcomed by Dan. He impressed us with his knowledge and expertise and was easily able to identify requirements and guide us intelligently through the various decisions to be made regarding the order of our Stressless chair. We have been impressed with the process thus far and now look forward to taking delivery of our chair when we will again share our observations.

The store I visited with my son was in Romford. I was attended to by Dan who was indeed extremely helpful and helped me to decide exactly what armchair I required for my disability needs.

Excellent service with a smile from Cheryle and team at the Romford store. Co-erced me to part with my money but was a top quality product and worth the price for comfort and sitting comfortably. Top marks.

Annie and Andy were very polite and helpful. They were very informative and we chose a chair.

Haley and Elaine at the Romford Store were ever so helpful and knowledgeable in helping us decide and purchase a new chair. They were extremely patient whilst we navigated chair designs and fabric options. Their help and support helped us decide on the best chair for our home. I would highly recommend HSL Romford and great team behind the showroom.

Excellent service! Helen greeted us as we came in, but wasn't pushy in any way. She helped my father in law find a chair that was not only comfy, but also fitted him and his needs. Elaine (Manager) also helped with choosing the right fabric and they both gave excellent customer service. Thank you

I visited the Romford store on Sunday 4th January. Haley was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. It really helped me to choose the right chair for myself. The lady working with her was lovely as well. This is my third visit to the store and I have been very pleased with the service I received each time.

Elaine met us in the showroom with a warm smile, and we spent a leisurely couple of hours testing out the HSL sofas and chairs for comfort and fit. Although we had originally thought of buying a sofa we settled on the Aysgarth recliner riser chair as, with the added adjustable lumbar support, it best met my needs. The whole experience at HSL was very enjoyable and there was no pressure to buy or to hurry. Elaine explained everything we needed to know about the furniture, and it’s great that it is made in the UK.
The complementary hot drinks were very welcome, and we would both highly recommend the Romford HSL shop and staff. Thank you - this is how shopping for furniture should feel.
We look forward to receiving our chair in a few weeks time. If we are as pleased as we expect to be, we may be back for a matching sofa!

I have had the pleasure of visiting HSL - Romford on several occasions in the past 18 Months to successfully purchase several items, (i.e Reclining Chairs, Sofas & a Reclining Bed), on behalf of both my Mother and Myself. Sadly Mum passed away earlier this year and I had the need to revisit the Romford branch again to purchase a new mattress for the previously purchased bed and also organise a service of one of the reclining chairs.
Haley, Elaine, Helen, Annie and Frances plus all the staff at HSL head Office especially Sharon could not been more Understanding, Considerate and Helpful in meeting my needs and requirements at a particularly difficult time. All of there assistance and support was greatly appreciated.
Thank you again to all the Staff at HSL Romford and Batley, You have all been truly wonderful throughout.
As a result I would have no hesitation any recommending HSL to anyone for all there home furnishing needs.

In November this year I visited the HSL Romford showrooms to enquire about a new 3-piece suite. The service I received from the specialists Annie and Elaine was excellent. Nothing was to much trouble for them; they were very professional throughout and knowledgeable about the products which made it easy for me place an order.
Today, 12th December the order was delivered by James and Peter who again are a credit to the company. They new exactly how to manoeuvre the furniture into the house with no damage to the property and demonstrated the controls of the recliner chair.
I have to say that I was very impressed with HSL’s operation throughout and very pleased with the end result.
