The product advertised on their website was not what arrived, way below standard - I would aliken it to plastic cheap tat. Took over 1 month to arrive, hadn't realised that the products were shipped from Dubai/Chaina - again very smoke and mirrors from the advertising that they do on their website and social media it seems that they use big names such as 'as seen in Vogue' to draw in their clientele.
Wouldn't have paid £100 for what has cost me over £600, I am now trying to recoup a refund, initially agreed to a 35% reduction but wish I hadn't as now bits falling off!

Oh dear, dreadful quality not representative of the website. Box came stuffed with anything from the factory floor - old bits Chinese newspaper. Despite there being many pieces to put together, there’s not even a simple diagram to hand over to the electrician. The glass from the (large)shades is very roughly cut and I will not be using it.
I’ve asked for them to be uplifted and refunded but I guess that won’t be happening as they are base in Dubai I now realise and drop shipping from a factory in China. Don’t be fooled by the glamorous images and suggestion of quality. Garbage!

You receive emails generated by AI with nothing but blah blah blah... I've been asking for an invoice for 10 months...

I was very disappointed with the Aegis pendant light. The underside (not shown on the website pictures) looks cheap and tacky. The cord and ceiling fixtures also look cheap. Not worth the price in my view.

Defective Lamps – Terrible Customer Experience
I received my order from Hestia.co in June. Unfortunately, the lamps arrived scratched and were not fit for use—they did not look as expected in terms of aesthetics.
I immediately requested a refund at the company’s expense and have since been engaged in an incredibly frustrating back-and-forth with their customer service team for nearly two months. They insist the lamps are “functional,” and therefore see no reason for a return—even though the damage is clearly visible and affects their appearance.
I paid €200 for these lamps (even at a reduced price), and I refuse to hang or repair them as suggested. Their first offer was a 10% refund so I could "buy a small can of paint" to fix them myself—completely unacceptable. I did not purchase used lamps or sign up for a DIY project. They later increased their offer to 20%, which I also declined.
The customer service has been appalling—repeating the same scripted responses, constantly apologizing without taking any real action, and blaming delays on needing a response from "head office." They ignore my concerns and make no effort to offer a fair solution.
What’s worse, they expect customers to return defective items to China—at the customer’s own cost—even when the products were dropshipped and arrived damaged.
Do not buy from them. There is zero care for the customer, and the product quality does not match expectations. Save yourself the headache.

We used Hestia to source pendant lights for our kitchen island, eventually purchasing the "Dumont collection" lights (2 x 90cm). I had looked online and read reviews on Trustpilot, and was happy to proceed with our purchase. This was back in early April of this year. From memory, shipping wasn't too long - a couple of weeks, and everything arrived well packed but clearly from China.
We're in the middle of a renovation, and only just opened the package yesterday. Sadly we are incredibly disappointed with the quality of the lights - they are plastic and cheap-looking, whereas on the website they appeared to be mostly metal, sturdy and robust. The wire to suspend the lights from the ceiling is cheap plastic, not wire or fabric chord. This is something I could have perhaps overlooked; however we paid nearly EUR400 for the lights, and for me this was just far too expensive versus the quality of the product.
We had our electrician inspect the lights, and he warned that the fuse box wasn't good quality and advised that we replace this with a UK-manufactured one to avoid problems with the lights in future.
Again, we would be willing to overlook this if we weren't so disappointed with the cost versus quality point.
We have decided we do not want to install the lights and will replace with a known-brand of lighting instead. Of course, Hestia do not have a contact phone number, so I have emailed them and received an AI-generated response saying that someone will be in touch with me to arrange a return and refund. I will be very happy to update this review if that process runs smoothly - for now, I hesitate to recommend Hestia + Co, and strongly believe the glowing reviews on Trustpilot are bots and not real reviews at all.
Very poor quality product impossible to return
Very poor quality product that looked nothing like the pics. Impossible to return as the Chinese address provided did not match the postcode. Incoming customs declaration said value Euros 60 and I paid more than ten times that. Received only a 30% refund.
Hestia co. never ever _ long delivery time
From the date of order 3.6.25 it takes one month and half and my pendant light is still not delivered. Yes, I supposed it is GB company _ customs clearance to Slovakia, it would take more time. But it is made in China ! Support team informed me my goods is in Netherlands _ cusoms ...yes the first entry to EU...so negative experience :( and I am afraid about quality, and reading here about nightmare of returning goods...

The chandelier packaging was impressive - every piece was individually wrapped and protected. Clearly they know these things can be fragile during shipping. Delivery was smooth and the driver was careful with it.

Avoid purchasing from this company
Terrible experience. First attempt at delivery failed as they put the wrong weight on the package and customs form. Finally received the product 2 months after placing my order and the box and product was damaged. Paid €530 for the Black Regent's Park collection 18 head chandelier. Not worth it at all given the product may not even be useable given the damage to it.
Extremely stressful return process – partial refund finally received after 10 weeks
I ordered two wall lights from Hestia & Co. in March 2025. The products weren’t suitable, so I returned them at my own expense using the address they provided. The return process turned into a nightmare.
First, they gave me an incomplete return address, which I only discovered after paying for international shipping. Then FedEx contacted me saying the recipient refused delivery, which caused customs delays and further stress. Hestia repeatedly gave conflicting explanations (customs fees, manufacturer issues) while I chased both them and FedEx for weeks.
Eventually — over 10 weeks after purchase — I received a partial refund (€250.56) issued under the name Elysium Group. I’m still £23 out of pocket, not including the return postage.
While I’m relieved to finally get most of the money back, I wouldn’t order from them again. Their customer service was inconsistent and evasive, and I had to work incredibly hard just to resolve a basic return.

Avoid avoid avoid. Appalling from start to finish. This is not a uk company so beware when placing a large order as returning your items is proving impossible. I ordered 5 lights from the Valhalla collection, all arrived (after being held up in customs for 2 weeks ) with poor quality glass lampshades. They were scratched and in most cases the Smokey grey coating had come off, not ideal when it’s acting as a lampshade. I contacted Hestia immediately and was informed that they would contact head office to arrange return labels. A week later, 1 return label was sent for one item (we have 5 in total) I returned this and requested the further 4 labels, only to be told that they did not provide postage and I would have to pay myself and return to a new address provided. Despite this not being the case previously after arguing this I decided that the several thousand pounds was more important, I sent the items tracked to their address. The following the items were refused by the addressee. I have been chasing Hestia for 3 weeks for support and a return address only to be sent holding emails and no customer support. I have now raised this with the bank in the hope that they can provide support but I am utterly disgusted by the lack of service and contact being provided by Hestia. I would not recommend them AT ALL.
