My wife and I have been using Helium Mobile since day 1. Its going to be world's best telco. Best part people don't realize is that its basically free with coverage mapping earning...I dont really understand 1 star ratings.

Decent since 2023 but died in 2026
Well it was fun (and free) while it lasted. The Helium reps and support system is worse on the simplest thing. You are now required to pay for a service that shouldn't cost anything. ID verification is bullshit and I had to open 2 tickets for this issue

I gotta hand it to Helium they seem to have it made right now and I hope they don't change (except add perks & better reps in the US region) like their mother company T-Mobile. Been with this company since their launch day late December and everything seems to be working out just fine

Just horrible and don't recommend.
I heard about this company from a blog that I follow and wanted to try it out. I can't even get signed up for it! Every time I put in my information to get an account it says "Your information can't be verified. Contact support."
I contact support and all they did was tell me to uninstall the app and to try it again. Well I did that. FIVE times. And the result? Your information can't be verified, all five times. So how is someone expected to try out their service if they can't even get past the stupid verification system? I'll just check out another company to be my provider instead of Helium mobile. At least I won't have this much trouble with them.

I decided to give this a shot (REGRET)
I decided to give this a shot. I didn't like how invasive this app was and decided it wasn't for me. Now I am unable to cancel or delete my account. I was on the free plan and I don't understand why this company made it this difficult to delete an account. When attempting to cancel a window pops up and informs the user they must wait until their account is inactive? Then gives you a date when you can delete. Well I waited for that day and now they added another month! This is such predatory behavior for a company to force users into sharing your location and making it near impossible to deactivate. I have taken screenshots of the issue.
UPDATE: After reaching out to the company it took a few days before they manually cancelled my account. Their response that "you're absolutely able to cancel" is only half true. You can only cancel once your account is deemed inactive. Which wasn't the case with my account as I had to personally reach out to their customer service team. The ideal situation would be for the consumer to hit a cancel button and be able to deactivate and delete the app right away. This wasn't the case.

Problem resolved.
Customer service is the worse. I just got the eSims in the mail today after ordering it on the 7th of Jan 2025. Today is 18th of Feb 2025. I can't make calls. I don't think the Sims has been activated properly. Granted I am using an IPhone 8. I just want to try the service before I add my other 3 phones. I reached out to customer service with my problem I can't make phone calls. Unfortunately, no one has gotten in touch with me. I like the phone concepts and plans and I hope they don't run people away with their customer service.
This is the review I wrote earlier. After being contacted later, and having my issue resolved, I felt bad about the negative review. Yes, it did take almost two hours before they got back in touch with me and it was by email. Nevertheless, the issue was resolved within five minutes. You'll we have to be patient with them. They are young company that is growing in the right direction, with an awesome concept and they pay us for supporting their network.

Frustrating Customer Support & Unresolved Issue
I've been a Helium customer since January 2024, and have had great service up until now. I’ve been waiting for a week to receive a new link to verify my identity with Persona, but instead of resolving the issue, my account was suspended. Throughout this entire process, I’ve reached out to customer support more times than I can count, only to receive the same response: "We've escalated it to the back-end team."
Despite multiple follow-ups, I’m still without access to my phone number and service. The lack of communication and urgency is incredibly frustrating. If you ever run into an issue, don’t expect a quick or helpful resolution. Very disappointed with this experience.

Very invasive company
Very invasive company. Needs sensitive information to sign up. Every step there's a new permission or certificate to allow/install on your phone. It tracks your every move. Ther's no online access to your account once you activate the sim card. Older phones won't allow the app to be installed. Not worth the hassle and invasion of privacy.

Excellent service for visitors
My parents used helium mobile when they visited USA for 6 months. didn't have any issues and most of the bill was covered through mapping rewards. highly recommend the service.

Almost free 5G with mapping rewards!
$20 plan for unlimited 5G was cheapest. But it actually was almost free every because I turned mapping on and got paid in MOBILE tokens, and it was usually $16-$18/month. Awesome deal, great coverage!
Great phone service
Me my families and friends have been using helium mobile for almost one year now and it's been great,it works great everywhere I go,even with me running multiple depin apps at the same time plus hotspot it never gives me any problems.not to mention the rewards for mapping ❤️❤️❤️. customer service is great also.
