Rigid Policies and Indifference to Customer's Concerns

Havertys have a very rigid return policy, they do not even agree to cancel warranty for furniture that has been delivered for few days and no claim made. Their warranty excludes everything that could go wrong with the furniture, it is worthless. The Sofa I bought is sinking in the middle and the expert they sent to inspect is not sure if it can be fixed but will try. I am waiting for their action. I cancelled the remainder of my order due to their inflexible return policy and their indifference to my concerns. They could have had more of my business had they shown they care, but their attitude is we got your money so we don't care anymore. Very short sighted policy. Never again.

Disappointing experience...but decent product

Havertys promoted themselves as the best company when I bought the furniture, but its been one mishap after another. They even sent an older man who could never lift a couch up the stairs out and ignored it was a second floor delivery. Desk took forever to come and I am still waiting for them to have someone come and tweak the installation since it could not be perfect with all the effort they made to get it right on delivery. Just temper expectations on the customer service side.

Positive feed back for Havertys Furniture

My experience with Havertys was outstanding. The salesman named Ralph and the decorator named Ethan in Dunwoody, GA made my experience so positive and enjoyable. They went over and above to make sure we made the right purchase for our home. It is a pleasure to shop at a store where the staff is so knowledgeable and professional. Havertys stands behind their merchandise. I highly recommend them.

Although Haverty's has an overall quality furniture reputation, I am a first-time buyer and probably won't shop there again. The salesperson was pleasant, delivery was excellent and on time, and the living room furniture is beautiful. My Problem: Their 3-day return policy is unreasonable. I bought a $5,400 living room suite; and after two months of use, the leather is still hard and my buttocks hurt. I would have thought the leather would have softened up some by now. NOPE! Never again will I buy from a store with only a 3-day return policy.

I just want to say how much Kay has…

I just want to say how much Kay has touched me. She is such a wonderful person, and is one of the best sales consultants, I have ever encountered. She cares about her people! She is very passionate, and HONEST! For this, i am so thankful. If you want or need anything, I suggest you see her. I have sold furniture in the past, I know how hard it is to keep up with all of your customers. It doesn’t matter to her, she goes above and beyond to help, and to get you the best, no matter how long it’s been. She still reaches out, making sure everything is ok. She should be very important, to Havertys, she is to so many, I’m sure. Don’t ever lose her Havertys, she’s the best! Thanks again, for always making things right Havertys!!

Terrible customer service

This store has terrible customer service, deletes order without contacting you, and has extremely long wait times for orders. I ordered a couch in February 2021 and waited ten months for the couch. I was originally told it would take 14 weeks for my order to ship. Havertys called or emailed regularly with updates and would say, "Great news! Your couch is arriving earlier than expected," when in fact I had been waiting almost a year and every updated delivery date was later and later. I called the store in late November and asked if it was still possible to cancel the order if the couch was not going to arrive soon. I was told by the store associate that she would talk to her manager and her manager would call me on Monday with an update on delivery time and to ask if I wanted to cancel or keep the order. My plan was to cancel if the order was going to take another month and if not, I would keep the order. The manager never called me. Instead, the store deleted my order without informing me. I only found out because I called after waiting a week for the manager's call back. My order was deleted because the store associate did not take down correct notes and simply wrote that I was tired of waiting and wanted the order cancelled. No apology or compensation was offered for the terrible customer service. I will not be shopping at this Havertys store again.

Great customer service and…

Great customer service and communication regarding items and delivery.
Products are pricey but worth the cost due to the real wood and leathers used, warranty, and delivery.

Quality furniture and big selection

Last year, we bought a leather loveseat, two leather recliners, a dining room table and chairs and two matching bar stools from Haverty’s. While their prices aren’t cheap, the furniture is high-quality. The shopping experience was pleasant with no pressure from our salesman.

We liked Haverty’s Louisville so much that we have referred several friends and family members to buy there.

First of all Havertys has a great…

First of all Havertys has a great selection of furniture and best of all their customer service is hard, to beat. We recently purchased a second home and had to furnish it from top to bottom. Working with Dante, at the West Palm Beach, FL store couldn't have gone smoother. Dante was very helpful and more important, patient, to my wife and I, as we discussed available options, choices, fabrics and styles. There is no question, when we need other furniture products, we will start our search at Havertys and again ask for Dante.

Great Experience!

Best furniture purchase experience I've had by far. The sales reps were extremely knowledgable and helpful. Their financing options are good, protection plan covers 5 years and delivery was great!

Yes, Havertys is a little on the expensive side but quality is great and the process to purchase and get your items delivered is unmatched, in my opinion.
