Misleading ads $1 deal
do NOT pay the $1 deal to see just ONE of their course, it comes with a 3 day trial for their monthly service $89. on day 4, they charge you$89. They will not cancel and refund. they only ask you to cancel future subscription. Never mention any cancel and refund for the money already charge. All conversations are canned messages, no real solution, even the $1 deal page said 21 day guarantee, email them within 21 day can get refund. I'm on day 5 in this journey. Still refuse to refund. If you are reading this, I hope you didn't sign up. This is a mess.
Agreed to a $1.00 course got hit with another $89.00 charge
Agreed to a $1.00 course. Received a receipt, No indication of subscription but they took a further $89.00 three days later before I had even looked at an account. Emailing customer support is pointless, all they try to do is give you more and I am not sure I have been talking to a human. Having to take this further for a refund. Be careful of this company, I feel like it is a total scam.
Sophia has been very patient
Sophia has been very patient, understanding and provided a resolution I was happy with. Thank you.
DO NOT get $1 deal
They mention 21 days money back guarantee. But you will not even get it within few minutes of purchase.
I bought one of their course for $1 and in 3 days, I received $89 charges and the course I bought four $1 that was also not available initially.
I clearly checked and did not see there will be $89 charges in 3 days OR there is a 3 day trial and $89 after that - Neither in the receipt nor during the checkout. I also email my receipt to them. Even during the checkout, I clearly looked around and it was not mentioned anywhere.
Later they gave me access to the course which I bought, and it was not matching as per the description, and the quality of the video was very, very, very bad and unprofessional.
You won’t be able to connect with them with a call even if the phone number is mentioned?
When you email them, they will just copy paste the same reply again and again.
100% you’re not getting your refund. No matter what you do. It was just a waste of time communicating back-and-forth through email.
Refunded
They charged me, as they have many others, without notice and initially refused to issue a refund. I filed a claim with my bank and received a refund, but they later disputed it and the money was taken back, meaning I was charged again. I then submitted an appeal. In the end, my case was successful and I received my refund.
My recommendation if you are trying to get a refund:
1. They may offer you access to their product instead of a refund. Do not accept this if you want your money back, because once you use the product, you may no longer be eligible for a refund.
2. Keep screenshots of all communication, including dates showing when you contacted them and when they refused the refund. Under EU consumer law, you may have refund rights within the first 7 days depending on the purchase terms.
3. If they win the first dispute, submit an appeal.
4. Be prepared for them to challenge the claim aggressively. In my case, they provided false information to the bank, but I was able to prove this because I had saved all screenshots.
At the beginning, they may try to confuse you or persuade you to use their product, presenting it as goodwill. In reality, this can weaken your refund case later. Be cautious.
Based on my experience, I would not trust this company.
I was very unhappy to be charged $89…
I was very unhappy to be charged $89 “subscription fee” for a subscription I did not subscribe. I only purchased one cheap program to see if it was what they advertised. I found it boring and uninspiring, so watched once only and forgot about it until I was charged extra. I looked through the app and could not find any company contact information. Neither could I manage my “subscription “. It’s only when I googled the company, I found their contact email address and a lot of negative reviews. Most people were dissatisfied with the hidden charges.
To give them a credit, I received reply almost immediately. After going back and forth, I didn’t get my refund. They offered me a lot of perks, which I’m not interested in, but excepted those because of good customer service.
I wanted to give this company -5 stars, but the person I was corresponding with, called Sophia, was very nice. She did her best to please me and keep the company happy. So, balancing my negative experience with the unexpected change plus less than average content quality on one side and the customer service on the other, I’ve given 3 stars, which is very generous.

I had a very negative experience with…
I had a very negative experience with GuruGo.
The service is built around misleading offers that appear to be a one-time purchase but actually turn into an auto-renewing subscription. The pricing and billing terms are not presented clearly enough at the moment of purchase.
I did not use the course at all, yet when I requested a refund, I was refused. Instead, I kept receiving alternative offers like “lifetime access” and certificates instead of a proper resolution.
Customer support is especially frustrating. It feels like you are communicating with automated or scripted responses rather than a real person. There is no meaningful help or willingness to actually resolve the issue, so contacting support seems pointless.
Overall, this experience feels deceptive and unfair.
I strongly recommend others to be very careful before making any purchase and to double-check all subscription terms.
Negative Stars
I would give negative stars if possible. They auto renew for everything, without consent, somehow steal your credit card information also without consent and their customer service is a bot. They should be out of business.
Warning: Subscription Trap / Unfair Billing Practices
I am writing this to warn others about GuruGo. I purchased a one-time course for 0.89€, and two days later, I was charged 75.74€ for a subscription I never authorized or signed up for. This is a classic 'Subscription Trap.'
When I contacted their support, they refused a refund unless I completed '14 days of the course' and provided screenshots—a condition that is legally invalid under EU consumer protection laws and the German 'Button-Lösung' (§ 312j BGB). A contract is only valid if the total price is clearly displayed at the moment of purchase, which was not the case here.
I have already reported this as an unauthorized transaction to my bank (DKB) and initiated a chargeback. I have also blocked my card to prevent further unauthorized charges.
GuruGo: I demand an immediate confirmation of my cancellation and a full refund of the 75.74€ without these illegal '14-day' requirements. My receipt I got in my email is #1137-6592
I'm making a complaint to the consumer protection association in Germany and to the police.
I will be very happy to support or give information if someone else is experiencing the same as me, I hope this unlawful companies can't continue damaging people.

Bought a $1 course. Apparently you also get a three-day trial period, after which they automatically deduct $89 and give me a "Natural Longevity Plan "PLUS" - premium" subscription. You can't get your money back, as you accepted the service terms when you paid the $1.
It's a nice way for them to earn some extra money though.
Disgusting scammer
Disgusting scammer. No soul. Bought a 0.78p video. Absolutely no mention of a subscription anywhere!!! Then 3 days later get charged £66 for a subscription because in the terms and conditions hidden away it basically says “we’ll take what we want whenever we wan for the foreseeable” absolute joke. Going on about women! Stealing from
Women more likely. Disgusting behaviour.

Fraud, misleading, scammer
I GOT REFUNDED!!
Predactory scheme, as per the comments below.
BUT I DID GET REFUNDED!
Raised a dispute with my bank (starling) detailing the situation, I have also reported them to Stripe (their payment processing platform), and got refunded within a week. I've also reported them to the FTC

Disgusting behaviour from a scam…
Disgusting behaviour from a scam company!
Paid £0.79 for a freebie, a few days later ££67! I didn’t even use the 79p one and there is nothing online about anything, no way of contacting a real customer service team, they just take money and won’t refund.
100% scammers
Misleading $1 trial turned into $89 subscription
I signed up for a $1 splits course and was then charged $89 after 3 days.
The subscription was not clearly or prominently disclosed at checkout — the main price shown was $1, while the $89/month renewal was buried in small print below the payment button.
I was also charged for a different product than the one I intended to purchase.
When I contacted support, I was told I could only receive a refund if I completed 14 days of usage, which is not reasonable in this situation. They basically are setting things up so busy people who think they are dealing with a legitimate company fall prey to scam tactics that are outlawed in this country through consumer protection.
I have cancelled the subscription and am currently disputing the charge with my bank.
Fantastic customer service!
My review is based on using the app for 14 days. Overall, my experience was good, even though I encountered a few challenges along the way.
I would especially like to highlight Sophia, my personal manager, who was absolutely phenomenal. Her customer service was outstanding—she responded promptly every single time and was consistently helpful and professional throughout my experience. She was also incredibly patient with me, even during moments when I felt frustrated with the program. She guided me thoroughly, made sure I stayed on the right track, and took the time to answer all of my questions.
Overall, her support made a significant difference in my experience. I don’t think customer service could get much better than this—she is truly excellent.
