I bought a fastest scooter 13 months…
I bought a fastest scooter 13 months ago, which needed a new battery after 6 months and they begrudgingly replaced it after my service review. Now at 13 months I’ve just had it serviced at a whopping £200 only to be told it needs a new motor which will cost another £419 fitted. The company have just informed me they’re not interested as it’s a month over warranty. I live in a flat area and it gets used 2/3 times per week. Save yourself grief and a lot of money and put it towards a decent scooter. I certainly wish I had.
Rubbish policy
Bought my scooter May 2023 as my mobility is slowly declining, lost the key to the storage box April this year. Rang Green Power to get a replacement but was told they don't have replacements, they sent someone out to fit a new barrel. He told me all scooters come with 2 sets of keys and my spares must still be in the office.I was told they had been disposed of after 3 months as the delivery driver said I didn't want them. I wasn't offered them and would certainly not have refused them. When I complained I was told I couldn't speak to anyone more senior and this was their policy. I certainly would not buy from them again.
I ordered a red JH500 mobility scooter…
I ordered a red JH500 mobility scooter from green power which turned out to be out of stock and they waited four days to tell me that the mobility scooter I have ordered is out of stock. Surely they should have had a sign saying out of stock but they waited till they took my money from my bank account before telling me and said that it was out of stock and that I would have to wait 10-15 days for more stock to arrive. On their website it states that delivery is usually in 5-7 working days, if they had told me when I ordered the mobility scooter that it was out of stock I wouldn't have bought it and looked else where to purchase the scooter. I saved up £1700 for a mobility scooter because my other one wasn't working to well and I had been stuck indoors because I have severe COPD and needed to get out because of my mental health being stuck indoors. I have been told by green power that I would have to wait 10 days for my refund of £1690 and I feel like I've been robbed and will have to wait indoors in this nice weather for them to sort out my refund. My order number is #53372 red JH500 mobility scooter and #53382 for a XL cover to go over the scooter if it rains. I would not recommend this company to anyone who wants a mobility scooter as I feel that they should have been more honest from the start and I wouldn't have to wait so long for my refund . It seems that they are only interested in getting there hands on your money before providing a service to the customer like they should and a disabled customer at that. Disgraceful treatment from a company that is supposed to help disabled people

Wrote a review disgusted with green power no response received they obviously do not care about their customers
Bought my scooter last year the main…
Bought my scooter last year the main board failed around 6 weeks ago causing it to break down. This was replaced the scooter does not hold charge and losses power after contacting green power again today they have now charged me £95 call out fee because they have already been out for this problem how can they charge you for something that was not rectified on the last call out horrendous. Would I buy another scooter from green power definitely not .would I recommend a green power scooter definitely not avoid them like the plague. Pay a little extra and buy another brand something that is actually fit for purpose .
Wish I had never bought my Falcon…
Wish I had never bought my Falcon folding scooter from this company. Only used a few times and sometimes it would go into reverse or even speed up with the only way to stop it was to turn it off with the key.
I took it to Tenerife as this was it prime function to travel aboard, only to discover on our departure day that the scooter would not fold and therefore unable to load into the car nor the airline would accept it unfolded on the flight.
I had to leave my 5 month scooter in Tenerife with no help from this company.
I will be taking them to the small claims court as the machine is not fit for purpose and is unsafe.

Do not buy from here
Do not buy from here. Your safety is paramount but these scooters are not. Just to let you all know that if you do choose to return the scooter within 14 days. You as a consumer have to pay £351 to return it. They have held my money and will not return. There is a mechanic issue with mine and it tips when I turn corners. I don't want to exchange the scooter for another one in case it's an issue in general with the company.
The scooter has now been collected and I am still waiting for my refund of £1989
Delivery excellent
The delivery process was on time and included a short training to ensure that I was proficient to use the scooter
Very pleased the the order process and any contact with the sales team

Unsafe
See also Greenpower. Scooters are unsafe. Paid for 15.07.23, delivered 09.09.23, fault 09.11.23. After just TWO months my scooter's display and back light got so hot that the light cover melted and set the cover on fire. My scooter was neither on charge nor was the key in the ignition. The company took three weeks to take any action and refused to replace or refund me until I sent a recorded complaint letter exercising my 'Right to Reject' under the Consumer Act 2015. I would not accept a repair because I don't believe any judge would rule that I should continue to use a machine with an electric fault. The company have no complaint procedure and are not members of the ADR scheme. BEWARE! Update: 27.11.23 the company have emailed me with a threat to sue me because of this review. Please also note that the warranty page on the website has been removed. The company have now offered me a replacement but only if I remove this review!
Do not buy from this company
I brought a red faster model just over a year ago, I had it serviced in April because the brakes did not work and because I like to keep things in the best condition, cost 200 pounds with call out fee. Move on to 3 weeks. Ago I was making the short trip to the doctor when I lost all power and there was a loud bang from the battery area, calledgreenpower to report this I was told I was just out of the warranty period and a charge of 150 pounds to have a engineer call out. Which he did,he,s diagnosis it needs a new battery,New battery lead, New controller, New battery switch, all this on a model that has done less than 150 miles.I asked if it could be returned to the factory to be truly checked out and I was told yes for a charge of 180 pounds. Which I refused I would rather scrap it than spend any more money on it, when it was going it was good but totally unreliable.
