I’m am first-trader, and I’ve been on the lookout for an AI robot to trade on my behalf for quite some time now. There are so many AI trading bots available these days, and I’ve tried quite a few of them. I even faced some scams along the way, but I’m really determined to achieve my goals. Then I discovered Alchemist, and let me tell you, they have been a true lifesaver! It’s exactly what I was searching for. I’ve been with Alchemist for a couple of weeks now, and I’m thrilled to say that I’ve been in profit every single day since I started. I would wholeheartedly recommend Alchemist to anyone who asks!

If you are completely new to algo trading and want "plug and play" I don't really think there is anything much better than this, but given that I have been learning how to code my own EAs over the last 4 years, now have multiple prop accounts and have the time to dedicate to regular optimisation and strategy selection I have decided to move on and remove Alchemist from my portfolio after 2 years of use and focus on my own custom EAs only. Alchemist trades only 5 pairs, 4 of which include the USD as the base currency, so there is quite strong correlation. It uses a "soft martingale" approach, with a consevative lot size exponent of 1.25-1.30, but there doesn't appear to be lot size or sequence cap so huge moves in the USD like we saw last week can quickly trigger multiple 10% equity stops as the exposure builds very quickly if no mean reversion takes place (due to the tariff threats, I had 2 back to back 10% equity stops trigger last week which wiped off 12 months of profit in 2 days). I personally prefer more frequent but concervative equity stop triggers, if running a similar approach - which I rarely do these days (soft martingale sequence trading) I set my equity stops at 5% total for the account but running 30-40 different strategies (different pairs, different sessions, range/trend/reversal strategies) at extremely low risk and overall see a much better risk adjusted returns as a result. I'd give it 3/5 as it's good for beginners (and those that don't want to learn), but once you get the hang of algo trading it's best to graduate to an EA that gives you a more control.

I started with a demo account and was able to achieve around 1% profit within just two weeks. After that, I moved to a live account, and the profits have continued consistently so far. Everything works exactly as described, without any technical issues.

The setup process was very easy and straightforward, even for someone who wants to get started quickly without complications. Overall, a very smooth experience and I’m satisfied with the performance up to now.

Have been plesently supprised with Alchemist as this is a first for me with auto trading, just turn it on and let it do its thing, do not be tempted to interfere with the process, have had steady profits so far, the initial set was bit frustrating, but the online customer support was excellent with a speedy response and a follow up to check if i was up and running. would highly recommend this platform for anyone looking to invest

Setting up Alchemist was super easy thanks to the clear, step-by-step explanations in the tutorial.

I’ve been running Alchemist for a couple of months now, and every time I’ve had a question, support has responded very quickly. The monthly profits achieved are in line with what is shown on their website. I really appreciate their honesty—when profits are not great, they don’t try to hide it.

I was very positively suprised about the consistent growth versus the minimal drawdown, even on a higher risk setting. Well done guys. I recommend it!!

This robot trading software is literally plug-and-play - no trading experience needed! I used to spend hours glued to charts, stressing over trades and losing sleep (and money), but those days are DONE. Alchemist FX does the heavy lifting with its advanced algorithms and smart strategies. Now, I can actually sleep peaceful knowing my trades are handled. The automated trading feature is super handy, and the results are impressive - consistent profits and way less stress. The user interface is slick, and the support team's always on hand. If you're serious about upping your trading game, Alchemist FX is the way to go!.

The trading risks on this are severely underrepresented in their marketing. There have been 3 stop loss events in the past 2 years with up to 40% losses in user balances. Totally not worth the gamble. Marketing made it sound like a promising algo but unfortunately this is hardly different from any other trading bot out there. I'm shutting it down and taking my money out.

Lost $15k this week. That takes me back to pre March 2025 levels, almost a year’s worth of gains gone.

I’m happy that any bot has to have some winning and losing months, but the losing months can’t be 10X an average monthly gain.

The same happened last year. That’s two massive blowouts. One 40% drawdown, this latest one about 20%.

This bot continued to SELL a pair that was pumping, getting in worse and worse positions.

Put money in SP500 instead, or failing that, throw it into the sea.

I have used it for months, it always has the same issue, it will earn for 2-3 months, then loose everything. i am using smartedge trading for the past 9 months and thats consistantly performing with 10+ a month. Please dont mark it as unrelated, i have bought 2 lifetime licenses from Alchemist becuase it work for a month, i thought its good. but the third month boom, it hit 40%.

Do not buy this algorithm
It will blow your account
Very small earnings and high losses
In 2 months it made around 20 dollars on a 650 account in profit and in the last week loss 350 dollars and another 70 dollars running in minus at the moment .
It is running 3-4 pairs at the time and it is having 10% loss per pair
So if all in losses you can lose % 40 of you account
Not worth the money !

The dollar can drop quickly on a single post by Trump.

I am switching off the bot and hope I can save some money in the account.

The backtests results are not providing comfort, because this simultaneous dollar event may not have been covered in previous backtest years.

edit 28/1: stoploss 2x -10% in 2 days, closed all positions for a total loss of -25%. All in all, terrible performance. I already lost -40% in the previous version so I guess it's my own fault!!.

The customer support is second to none.. answering promptly very helpful when needed!!

The installation process is easy as the tutorials are well explanationary.

On the whole it does what is says however, as a non experienced trader I would suggest that if the software is losing money on a pair right like NZDUSD it will not try to average down but I suggest it opens a different position on tge same pair so while 1 trade is going down and making losses the other is making profit until both are executable in green or otherwise one will make up for other. I am still in demo account though as I wanted to stay one month before I put my money but I can see it all live and it give me goose bumps, I like it.

It is not a get rich quick product but from what I see it is meant for consistent month on month gains as profits per trade are minimal but still easy cashflow.

Not sure if my suggestion make sense however it is related to my observation.

I already recommended it to a professional trader I know who I am trying to beat in his own game using Alchemist FX trader ;)
