Arrogance isn't enough of a word for these degenerates that are at at Exmouth Branch. I'm being evicted under the no fault. And I had to inform the people there in the office of a few serious matters, I say people, because no one seems to work there. I've phoned numerous times to discuss some serious matters and only one person answered saying she couldn't help and transfer me. I waited for ever. Not one IDIOT would pick up the phone. For days I phoned and left messages, even emailed them, which heightened my ANXIETY even more. No one return contact. NADA. And these people get PAID by people who use them to sell/rent their property. What a FARCE. To this day not one UNCUTH PERSON has even had the curtesy to call back. I'm severely disabled and it has left me with no alternative but to go to see these people face to face. Be warned to others I would consider never employ FULFORDS. An absolute 💯 % DISGRACE. POOR SERVICE. UNRELIABLE. I can see they are all USELESS PEOPLE AT EVERY BREANCH IN DEVON.

I can’t recommend Grace Prew at Fulfords' Dawlish highly enough. As a buyer, I have been incredibly impressed with the service and personal attention she has given throughout my property search.

She has been excellent at keeping me informed about suitable properties and arranging viewings and has always taken the time to understand what I’m looking for rather than simply trying to sell me something. She has a genuinely delightful personality and is an absolute pleasure to deal with — friendly, professional, enthusiastic and, most importantly, very approachable.

Very disappointing experience with…

Very disappointing experience with Fulfords Paignton. Our tenancy agreement contained a clear break clause (Clause 17.2), and we gave the required notice, yet we later faced a claim for £687.12 in alleged rent arrears and a dispute over our £1,200 deposit.

Our emails and calls to arrange the check-out went unanswered, nobody attended the inspection, so we had to video the property ourselves. We even had to travel to Paignton with a van full of our belongings simply to return the keys. The landlords supported the same position as the agency throughout the dispute.

We took the matter through the independent mydeposits adjudication process. The adjudicator confirmed that our notice complied with Clause 17.2, no rent was owing, and awarded £0 to the landlord and the full £1,200 deposit back to us.

Based on our documented experience, we would not recommend Fulfords Paignton. Keep everything in writing, know your tenancy agreement and protect your rights.

Worst company ever

Worst company ever. This company have special talent to make expense quote same as the amount of deposit money. Even the internal guy shared to me they make fake quotations from local services in order to grab all deposit of tenant. Do not recommend this company al all.

Fulfords in Tavistock fall way short of…

Fulfords in Tavistock fall way short of customer service for buyers of their marketed properties. We understand that estate agents represent the vendor but it is ultimately the purchaser who pays their wages. Todd Schooling in Tavistock works only for the vendor and does not use common sense when a sale falls through lower down the chain. Straight to vendor without having patience to ascertain if the chain can be salvaged(which it has). He does not consider how much money other people have paid out to get to things moving. Through no fault of his own, he is young and inexperienced with no apparent manager to assist in Tavistock. No feedback when questions asked, or only partial answers. Think twice if you want to use Fulfords.

Very poor

I initially left a five-star review for Fulfords Paignton because they were very helpful in securing me a rental property. Unfortunately, my experience after moving into the property has been disappointing.

Since taking occupancy, I have encountered several issues within the property which took a considerable amount of time to be addressed and resolved.

Communication and support during this period were not of the standard I expected.

I also experienced problems regarding the gas and electricity accounts. Based on information provided by the agency, I was led to believe certain dates were correct, but this resulted in me being charged for utility usage during a period when I was not living at the property.
While my initial experience was positive, the level of service provided after moving in has left me disappointed.

Prospective tenants may wish to consider this when choosing a letting agent.

Fulfords Exmouth sales team lead by Niamh Scott

Niamh Scott and her sales team from fulfords Exmouth went above and beyond to get the sale of my house through.
They were very professional and courteous at all times as well as providing accurate advice and guidance.
This experience has restored my faith in the value of a good estate agent with dedicated staff willing to go the extra mile to get the deal over the line.

Avoid in Devon especially Tavistock branch and area manger Russell

Absolutely terrible service from Tavistock branch and area manager Russell.

Inconsistent and unreliable communication from the start. Never stuck to promised weekly updates. Allowed the buyer to drag her feet for months and then presssured and harassed my mother when the buyer wanted to complete with two days notice and on the day of my dad’s funeral and we said no.

Asked my mum why she was still accessing the pottery she owns despite telling them we were retrieving personal items because the buyers didn’t want anyone in there after offer accepted. They live next door and the estate agents delayed other viewings knowing this.

Area manager emailed me after I asked the branch staff to get him to call me and then never replied to my email.

Staff were rude to my mum over the phone multiple times and the buyer has been an absolute disgrace of a human to our solicitor as well.

No compassion, terrible customer service and a severe lack of skill or experience within the staff team. Some staff just disappeared from the branch without warning last week.

Avoid at all costs.

Shambles of a company

Shambles of a company, not a good experience trying to sell my property with them. Put wrong property details online re number of years left on lease so would obviously put people off, chased up numerous times to amend, especially not happy when you’ve just spent £6000 extending the lease to sell. Little to no feedback from viewings when I actually had a viewing. And to top it off, considering I’m out of contract with them now because cancelled as soon as I could, got a call today saying what’s your position at the moment because they’ve got someone really interested could they have a look on a “one off basis? ”, so to test them I said sure, they said they’ll call them and get right back to me, guess what didn’t even call me back. Unprofessional, deceitful, useless, time wasting estate agency DO NOT USE if you want to sell, and for anything else

Never inspected the property for 2…

I own a bungalow in Exmouth with beautiful views of the sea, I used Fulfords lettings to look after it. Fulfords Exmouth never inspected the property for 2 years, tenant wrecked the place, no Branch manager or lettings managers for long periods of time, been offered £100 goodwill gesture not accepted. Please give this company a wide berth.

Where do I start

Where do I start. We bought a house that Fulfords had listed, when we went to the first viewing the estate agent didn't even know how much the house was on the market for. We put in an offer in and it got accepted. We had two phone calls a week later asking how we were getting on with purchasing a new house although we had already had an offer accepted on their listing.

I then had a phone call a couple weeks later asking how we were getting on selling our house (our house was sold before we put in an offer for our new home). They then called a week later and asked if we had sold a house at an address I've never heard of.

We finally moved into the new home purchased from them on November 14th. The sold sign is still out the front of our property, today is the 16th December. I have chased them twice and it's still not been collected. I would advise anyone to stay clear of these cowboys. It's stressful enough moving house and dealing with incompetent estate agents just makes its more difficult. On the opposite side, the estate agents that we sold our property with (Butt Estates) were absolutely brilliant. Would highly recommend them , don't waste your time with Fulfords.

Aaron Marks in Exeter branch is great

I would like to thank Aaron Marks in the Exeter branch for being such a kind, professional and helpful member of staff. My family have recently rented a property from Fulfords and couldn’t be happier. The times I have called the office, I have been greeted warmly by all staff and they couldn’t have been more helpful.. Thank you!
