Identical scripted interactions and no successful identity checks
I spent approximately €150 using this dating platform and decided to assess the authenticity of user interactions based on my own experience.
I corresponded with 31 female profiles, and every interaction followed a strikingly similar pattern. Responses appeared scripted and designed to prolong engagement rather than facilitate genuine conversation. Many profiles used explicit images, and although they claimed to be located in Ireland, several of the images did not appear to originate there.
When I requested basic confirmation of identity or location, the tone of the conversations consistently changed. The replies became evasive, expressed confusion, or avoided the request altogether, while still encouraging further interaction.
To verify whether these were real, local individuals, I made a simple real-time request: asking the person to go to their fridge, take out a carton of milk, and send a photo holding it. This was intended only to confirm a live human presence. None of the 31 profiles complied.
To rule out coincidence, I repeated the same process using a second account and received near-identical interactions.
Based on my personal experience, I believe this platform has a serious issue with inauthentic or automated profiles and lacks transparency for paying users. I would advise consumers to proceed with caution.
