We needed a van for our business. Fluid advertises "Fleet Rentals Made Simple". The process is significantly more complicated than Uhaul, Penske or Enterprise. We paid for the rental and uploaded all the required documents requested at that time (driver's license, etc). On the day of the rental, they refused to rent us the van unless we provided a copy of our lease. I don't know about you, but I don't walk around with copies of my lease. We've spent $20,000+ on rentals from Uhaul, Penske and Enterprise for our business - never had someone withhold the rental because we didn't show up with a copy of our lease. They also refused to issue a refund, so we had to file a chargeback with our credit card. The most frustrating aspect is that we had paid labor waiting to use the truck to move inventory - we had to waste time and money rushing to find a replacement vehicle. You cannot count on Fluid truck rentals.

quite the little scam this company has going. They book a truck then low and behold, it's not available after they force you to pay for it upfront. Their app is clunky at best and would not, despite REPEATEDLY resubmitting, capture license information. What a waste of my time.

Go ahead and rent a vehicle from this sham company. Here's what will probably happen: hours before you are due to pick up your rental, your reservation will be cancelled, and you will be forced to find an alternative somewhere else. This company is in its infancy. They don't have their system dialed in yet. What happens is big companies rent a van, and extend the rental indefinitely, which screws everyone else who rented that same van. They don't charge a penalty, so studios and others have found a way to "sit" on a fleet for as long as they want. It would be great if fluid would set their system up to discourage that, but they don't. In fact, if you call customer service, you will be connected to someone overseas that will just say how sorry they are, and (in about ten minutes of wasting your time) that they are powerless to help you. So much for customer service. So there you have it. If you need a van, but you don't REALLY need it, go ahead and use fluid. Good luck!

Terrible! I was charged fees by the truck owner that were completely out of line with no proof and the only solution I got from Fluid is to message the lender. Fluid's app is tough to navigate, their customer service is confusing, and they completely abandon any responsibility for the user experience and charging of excessive fees.

True honesty--haven't used this yet, but wanted to balance out the star ratings from all the silly reviewers angry about the truck renters' driving habits. If people did that same thing for all the crazy car-renting tourists here in Orlando, ALL the rental companies would be one star!

Rented a truck from Fluid Truck and it was so simple I will never rent another way! Great customer care too...

For anyone needing to use a vehicle more than a few hours, you may want to confirm the total cost with taxes.

If we would have gotten the rental it would have had actually cost us more than Enterprise,Penske and Ryder.

May be good for those who are in high volume delivery or in a pinch due inventory at other established rental companies.

One of their drivers came flying up behind me passed me in a no passing zone which he was also flashing his high beams on me, I was doing 5 miles over the speed limit as is. The plate was out of Oregon. Got everything on my Dashcam.

We rented a fluid truck in May 2022 for less than 6 hours. We returned the truck in perfect shape, took our own photos because you can never be too careful.

Today, Sept 12, 2022 the company contacted us saying we need to pay 1k for a dent in the truck (there picture taken in July). Thank goodness we had taken our own photos to prove there was NO DENT Or else this hack of a company would have tried to claim the dent came from us even thought we didn’t even have the truck in July.

Just rent a U-Haul - don’t use this company!!

Didn’t even deliver to me, but driver came screaming down our private gravel road! I have 3 small children that will ride their bikes on the road and at this time of day, the sun makes it extremely hard to see. I would bet he was driving at least 40 on a dead end residential gravel road! SLOW DOWN!

Same thing as other posts. Had a reservation 1 week in advance. Cancelled as I arrived to pick up in the morning. Said previous renter did not return truck, unresponsive. Texted and called “4 star” renter. No reply. No other rentals offered. Ended up renting truck from Home Depot. No problems there. Said to myself when I saw price “it’s too good to be true”. Beware. IT IS.

There are so many bad reviews for Fluid Trucks that I felt I should write a review of my experience. This is not to say that the bad reviews are incorrect. I read them before I rented a truck and crossed my fingers that my experience would be better.

My experience was fine. I reserved a Ford Transit, and it was available at the time and date requested, at the stated location. It was very clean. I started the reservation with the inspection protocol, that required that I take several pictures of the interior and exterior. The van opened automatically. I didn't know where the key was, so I had to hunt a little bit (it was in a small nook just to the left of the steering wheel). It drove like a truck - which is to say it was not as smooth handling as my Prius, but it's a truck, so I didn't let that bother me.

I drove about 50 miles, which was well under the 100 free mile allowance.

I filled up the gas tank then then returned the van, and went through the picture-taking protocol again, and then the van automatically locked.

Four days later I received a full refund of the deposit, which was $150.00. That must mean that the owner was satisfied that I didn't damage the van or return it late and that I filled the tank up as expected.

Accordingly I have no complaints and would rent a truck from this organization again.

So, I ordered a package from Jannuu scrubs. The delivery van arrived (Fluid) and the driver just tossed my package at the driveway. Caught it on security camera. I love my product, but who is this driver??

Lady driving flood truck wasn’t paying attention and ran into the back of me. She paid for the premium insurance plan with fluid and gave me all her info, but her I am 2 months later and still no resolution. There is no one to talk to on the phone just emails. They had seriously been giving me the run around and I can only imagine if my car was totaled and I was in the hospital what would have happened. I’m just dealing with a bashed in car I’m the back and the truck she was driving was so tore up it had to be towed away. This company is a complete fraud. Never does it take two months for someone insurance to fix a car. Every email they ask for another small piece of info and that’s like every two weeks. It has now been over 3 weeks and I have not received a response, so at this point I think they want me to forget about it, but I can’t forget about when I go to my car and see the damage each day.

This company is a SCAM. They tell you that you will get 100 daily free miles and they will still charge you at the end of your reservation. They will over charge you for miles. They will not help resolve issues. You can not trust this company. If I could give 0 stars I would. And the rentals are always on E when you pick it up.

You should definitely avoid this service at all costs. The people that mention they didn't get "approved" of "didn't have vehicle ready" are the lucky people. I did get a truck. I paid for three hours and used it for 2. That was ok as I reserved it for that time. I returned it with 0 damage added, more gas than I received it with, and under the allotted miles. I was charged $100/hr after all said and done. I will never use this company again. I would've saved $150 going through a reputable rental company.

Would give zero stars if I could. I provided all the documentation and verification required and my account was denied and no reason was given. I have a perfect driving record, yet I did not meet their "proprietary safety requirements." This company is a joke. Avoid at absolutely all costs.
