Racist and discriminatory staff

There was a short woman with yellow hair at the reception who discriminated against me and said that I can not train without replacement shoes, and I didn’t want to come with a replacement shoe because i got my keys and AirPods once stolen from my lockers. Also it is the first time that this happens to me after 3 years with fitinn. She selectively applied a rule which is not even stated on their website. many people enter without changing shoes and she doesn’t say anything but she did this with me selectively on discriminating grounds. She was very rude!

She also blocked my account and I have been contacting their customer service for 2 weeks without a reply

Thieves

I m from Greece. I came to Salzburg just for two months so I made a registration in fitinn. The guy at the reception was known that it’s only for two months.i signed my contract. Two months later I ask them not to charge me for the next month cause I m going back to my country. The girl at the reception told me that it is impossible cause my contract is for one year so I m forced to pay for a year. Firstly I had already informed them that I m interested just for two months. Unfortunately the contract is in German than I’m not speaking, so I trust them and sign. Secondly it’s unacceptable even I had sign for one year to force me to pay all time long that I m not gonna be not even to the country. They are thieves in every way

STAY AWAY!!

STAY AWAY!!! Super arrogant staff and they will not return my money as promissed.
I came in to buy a daypass, and asked if they had sauna wich was the primarily reason for my visit . The girl said yes and i paid 20€ with creditcard. Went to the changing room and wondered where the sauna was. Went out to ask, and see said, OH! you mean sauna? I though you ment sunbed. I said i wasnt interested than and would like my money back, i never used the gym at all, was in the changing room for max 1 minutte. She said i needed to email the office and let them know about her fockup, than they would retur my 20€. She and the manager was so arrogant and careless that i stood there stunned.
I have mailed 5 times and get a robot reply that they will get back to me within 2 days. Never heard back from them.
Bloody thiefs.

‼️ Beware of what you’re signing when…

‼️ Beware of what you’re signing when joining FITINN, and consider choosing a different gym!

I originally signed up for a 6-month membership in 2022, and after that, I simply renewed it month by month. I stopped going in October 2023, yet I kept receiving invoices for November, December, and January.

Here’s the trick they use: when your prepaid period ends, your membership card stops working at the entrance terminal. So logically, you assume that if you don’t renew, your membership is over. This is how normal gyms operate. However, FITINN doesn’t work that way.

What they don’t tell you is that when you want to leave, you are required to submit a termination form, even if you’ve already stopped using their services and your card no longer works. No one informs you about this when you sign up, and it’s not clearly stated in the contract. Instead, they bury it deep in their terms and conditions on their website, written in a way that most people wouldn’t suspect such a scam.

The result? Even though you think your subscription has ended, they continue charging you monthly fees. And if you refuse to pay for the months when you weren’t using their services, they threaten legal action.

This seems to be a deliberate business model, as they even have dedicated staff handling these complaints—because it happens way too often.

I strongly recommend choosing another gym, even if it costs a bit more. At least you won’t have to deal with these shady tricks and hidden fees.

Absolutely Horrible Experience

Absolutely Horrible Experience

This so-called fitness club is a total disaster from start to finish. The equipment is outdated, broken, and downright unsafe to use. Half the machines are “out of order,” and the other half squeak and wobble like they’re about to collapse. The cleanliness? Nonexistent. The locker rooms reek, the showers are covered in mold, and I wouldn’t touch the floors with a 10-foot pole.

The staff is rude, unhelpful, and seems annoyed by your very presence. Don’t even bother asking for assistance or advice—they clearly don’t know what they’re doing. The trainers? Unqualified and uninterested in anything beyond their phones.

And don’t get me started on the atmosphere. It’s overcrowded, the air conditioning doesn’t work, and the place blasts terrible music at deafening levels. It’s impossible to get a decent workout with all the chaos.

Oh, and let’s talk about the contracts—sneaky hidden fees everywhere. Canceling is a nightmare, with staff dodging your calls and inventing new excuses.

Save your money and your sanity. This place isn’t worth stepping into even for free. Avoid at all costs.

Avoid at all costs - scam operation

Fitinn in Czech Republic is as bad as in Austria apparently. I rarely put down bad reviews, but avoid this gym at all costs.
I had questions and came to ask them in person at the counter multiple times, for a yearly price breakdown for my employer and to downgrade my membership as I don't use the showers (because the showers are too cold and short for my taste). The management is never there and the employees were not able to answer my requests.
Because I missed some payments waiting for a concrete answer, the gym sent my file to a collections agency without warning. They have my phone number, it would have been easy to recontact me. The mail from collections was in the spam, claiming a sum that is higher than a year-long membership. When I inquired about this, they wrote me that the plan was renewed automatically for an additional 6months?? Note that this was over 5 months before the end of the initial contract.
And yes, you read that right, the basic plan doesn't give you access to showers. If this is not a red flag, I don't know what is.
I am now in contact with my lawyers, I agree to pay for the initial plan of 1 year which is already a crazy price by the gym’s standards - I will not pay for an additional 6 months.

Absolute joke

They literally changed the number on the invoce after Ive paid in and claimed that I owe them.
Notice of termination submitted on aug 9, received confimation in september that the 30 day notice period started and my contract will be terminated by sept 30 (53 days after my first notice).
Customer support is non existent, no identifier on tickets of invoices you receive so theres no way to explain your problem in detail. Arrogant responses that dont solve a thing and you have to wait up to 2 weeks to receive them just to try again and hope someone more competent will read your ticket.

Studio was OK but being scammed killed it for me.

Not recommended.
