Dominique was a great support, and answered all of my questions in a kind manner

Liz and Nicola from F&C Rugby provided a first class service throughout the process of selling my late father's house. They were very supportive and always happy to attend the premises, not just for viewings but when I needed to give other trades access (as I live 300 miles away) and in my opinion went above and beyond at every step. F&C were not the cheapest quote we had, but were worth every penny: their marketing was superb and quickly generated a lot of interest in the house (far more than we expected) which led to a good offer. They continued to be in close communication throughout the legal process, gave good advice, and diplomatically negotiated a couple of bumps in the process to ensure everything continued on track. Nothing was too much trouble - even helping to lift a stain out of the carpet which was discovered when the last of the furniture was moved out! I can't thank them enough for helping make an emotionally and logistically difficult process as smooth as possible.

We cannot thank Lara enough for everything she did to help us find our new home. The moment she told us about the property we have now moved into, she immediately dropped everything to arrange a same day viewing for us, which really showed how dedicated and proactive she is.
From that point onwards, Lara made the whole process feel effortless. She handled all the back and forth so smoothly, kept communication clear throughout and genuinely made us feel like nothing was ever too much trouble. Moving house can be stressful, but having someone so approachable, calm and supportive made such a difference.
This is also the second time we have used Fine & Country Brighton & Hove and once again the service has been exceptional. Lara’s personal approach, professionalism and care really stand out and we would absolutely recommend her and the team to anyone looking for an estate agent they can truly trust.
Thank you again Lara. We are so grateful for all your help and absolutely love our new home.
Had an offer accepted on a property this company was acting for. Was told that the property was removed from the market and was asked not to continue with viewings we had booked. They then called the week after to say they had accepted another offer. Would advise people not to view any properties this company is acting for.

We decided to put our house on the market and in March 2025, we engaged Fine and Country, after a superbly polished pitch by one of their agents or should I say 'Associate Partner'.
So good was the pitch that we looked no further and engaged the agent without checking other estate agents, that was our mistake. However, we were sold on Fine & Country's professionalism and knowledge of the market place for houses such as ours. We went ahead and paid Fine & Country £1250 to cover their companies marketing costs.
Little did we know that the agent valued our house more than £1m over the actual market value, yes over £1m, let that sink in for a bit. The photographs and video of the house took two very long days, which was way over what we were told.
When we eventually saw the online version of the brochure, which seemed to take forever and the delay was just a myriad of excuses, there were mistakes that would mislead any potential buyer. Several times we asked this to be changed but it wasn't. We never saw the finished printed version of the brochure that we were promised.
We were introduced to Propelr, who were being heavily pushed at the time and thought, why not, it keeps it all under one roof. That seemed, in my opinion, a complete and utter waste of time, that cost us many hundreds of pounds and we received fairly useless correspondence back, just a large bill. This service seems to me to be unnecessary as you can all what they provide by just engaging your own solicitor, which would cost less.
After a time, and not one potential buyer, no printed brochure, still trying correct errors in the marketing, we decided to go elsewhere, which wasted the important 'spring/summer' market. We felt that the flawless pitch and promises made to us were just not being met in any way.
Only after we looked toward other estate agents did we realise the catastrophically bad and inaccurate valuation that we had been given by Fine & Country. Three different agents gave us a valuation of between £1.1m and £1.3m, Fine and Country's agent or should I say 'associate partner', gave us an initial valuation of £2.5m. We thought our home was worth around £1.2m to £1.5m, so were taken back at this valuation, but we thought that they were the professionals and knew about the market. However, we did reduced to £2.25 for marketing, thinking that was an incentive to any potential buyer.
We put our trust and blind faith in Fine & Country and feel that was trashed with over pricing and inaccurate marketing, that cost us over £2000 with Fine & Country and Propelr's fees. So, we would not now, or ever in the future, consider any property to sell or buy, for that matter, that which has the Fine & Country name attached. Solely because of our experience I wonder how many properties are 'overpriced'.
So be VERY careful, it was our fault that we didn't look at other valuations, but after such a superbly polished pitch, we were taken in. Please make sure you get other valuations, it could save you a lot of money.

I’ve dealt with this firm twice, both time they were found wanting.
1. They did an awful job of marketing my property
2. Today they were 2 hours late to drop the keys off at my daughters new property, this so called agent waltzed in opened the door said congratulations, no appology and then left, really poor service and to top it off she took the front door key with her. The 2 offices to avoid are Cardiff and Brecon
I’d give them both of them a wide berth, can’t speak for the other offices though.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I do not trust Fine & Country regarding its internal management of the conduct of complaints, based on my experience of the company to date.
Moreover, I have already undertaken the first stage in the Fine & Country formal complaints procedure by contacting the branch director, Mr. Cartwright, concerning his recent professional behaviour. It was stated therein that the communication amounted to a formal complaint. I quote: "Please treat this e-mail as a formal complaint against you as the manager of the Fine & Country branch in Ware, Hertford and Welwyn, according to Fine & Country's complaints procedure. I understand that I am required to pursue the matter of complaint locally before pursuing it further. Therefore I am compelled to make a complaint about you to you yourself as the director of this branch." (e-mail from Graeme Baber to Richard Cartwright copied to Stephen Ensum dated 8th April 2026 sent at 8.33 a.m, final paragraph).
Perhaps Fine & Country might show a little goodwill regarding the misbehaviour of its staff that I allege. Please reimburse a part of the money initially taken at Mr. Ensum's request for a contribution to the expenditure relating to the unsuccessful marketing of my property.
This is an update on 1st May 2026: I have e-mailed the address recommended in the reply to this comment in pursuit of a partial reimbursement of my contribution to the marketing expenditure relating to Marigold Cottage. My original comment remains as written - my experience with Fine & Country was very, very disappointing indeed.
This is an update on 21st May 2026: On Monday 18th May 2026, Mr. Cartwright paid into my bank account a sum equal to 50% of my contribution to the marketing expenditure relating to Marigold Cottage, and made available 62 debranded photographs, a debranded floorplan, and a debranded video, of the property. Consequent to this, I consider the matter to be closed.

Thank you Fine & Country, both Diss and Norwich Office.
Kerry Cozens met us to view our property on her first day and was successful straight away! She was professional, courteous and very friendly.
Then we were contacted by Julie Vassar, the aftersale manager. She coped admirably with a complex and difficult completion and exchange procedure, never losing her cool and being extremely supportive to us. Her exceptional people skills, professionalism and endless patience meant that she was always available. She liaised between us, the vendors, our solicitor and the vendor's solicitor with apparent ease and brought everything to a successful conclusion. Thanks again!

Tom from Fine and Country Diss, has handled our sale patiently and professionally. There was clear communication from the beginning and we were updated from the sellers side of things throughout. The main office in Diss is friendly and accommodating, the manager even spent time going through TPOs with us and extra advice. We would highly recommend Fine and Country and are very appreciative for all their help in purchasing our family home, Tom & Sheree

I recently purchased a house through Fine & Country, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the level of expertise and customer service they provided. Their professionalism was exceptional throughout the entire process.
A special thank you to Jade and Sherry, who kept me consistently informed and went above and beyond to ensure everything progressed smoothly. Their support made the experience far less stressful, not only for the sellers but for me as the buyer as well.
I would highly recommend Fine & Country to anyone looking for a reliable and dedicated estate agent.

I have recently sold my house near Carlisle and was supported through the whole experience with the Fine & Country team in Carlisle . Their service and friendly but professional manner was 2nd to none. I cannot praise the whole team enough especially Rosie who went the extra mile. I would recommend them to anyone who is in the process of choosing an Estate Agent in Cumberland.

Fine & Country sold my house with two offers only two weeks in. Kate did a wonderful job coordinating and managing everything, from the marketing to viewings to answering questions over the several months before the completion. She was incredibly kind, helpful, and professional at all times. Highly recommended if you want to sell a property that's a fit for their market (the more unique or rural type). They understand their section of the market very well and how to sell within it.
From the start to the finish of the sale Ed, Helen and the team were professional, enthusiastic and a pleasure to deal with. They promised a service over and above the norm and they delivered this for sure, we couldn’t have wished for more.
Outstanding service from Fine and Country. All staff were incredibly kind and efficient without being pushy or intrusive. They genuinely seemed to care. We would highly recommend their services.
They went above the normal standard of what estate agent should. They made constant contact and keep to the promises that they gave, and help us through a very demanding sell. Well done team and a special thank you to Tom for going that extra mile.
Really good service and follow up, very pleased with a no stress purchase
Sheldon was a great help through the selling process particularly as only one of the family was living nearby the property being sold. We relied heavily on updates and his communication about status was always clear and reassuring. From our perspective he seems always to go the extra mile to keep the buyer on board and move the process forward.

Having just exchanged contracts for the sale of our property, I cannot thank the Diss office of Fine and Country and in particuar Laura for their/her help and support during what was a rather long and stressful process! I would not hesitate to recommend Fine and Country if you are thinking of selling your house.
