First, the product turned out to be highest quality for a very reasonable price. Second, the company was responsive to my needs and made an exchange super easy. That's so important when buying online. We're delighted with our purchase and will buy from them again.

The next morning reply to my email and a solution to my concern that surpassed my expectations: that's why I don't need to wait for my items before leaving a review. This alone has me a a loyal customer going forward!
Excellent hat for the money
First, the price point of my Walrus hat was very good. The order was filled and shipped very quickly and arrived on time. It was also well boxed and safe, not just in a bag. The hat is an excellent value. It's constructed and shaped well, the full liner and comfortable band have the feel of a much more expensive hat. The color is spot on to what is pictured on the site. Included was a free tool to measure my head properly for future purchases. The hat runs very true to size. Large was a touch roomy on my 7 1/4 head. A single spacer took care of that though.
Do I Really Need A Dozen Hats?
Between September and November 2025, I purchased a dozen hats from Fashionable Hats. I love this website. Returned hats 3 times, with minimal issues. Dealt with James whenever I called, and he was great.
As far as the products, I'm a huge fan of Walrus, the 'house' hat company. Beautifully made and finished. My only bad experience was with 'crushable' hats; they're just too floppy for my tastes.

In my experience, the quality of the hats is good. That's why they get two stars from me instead of one. The customer service is atrocious. Eventually they will just stop responding to you. The return process takes FOREVER. I bought a hat on 10/14 for Halloween. It arrived quickly (10/20), but didn't fit. I sent it back the next day. They received it on 10/24, a full week before I needed it. I sent a communication asking if they can get the return quickly so I can have it when I needed it. Yeah, basically asking to expedite the process. They didn't/wouldn't/couldn't. Whatever. So I asked them on THREE separate occasions to cancel my exchange because I would no longer need it. Twice they said they would, once they didn't respond. More than a week later (11/07) I got a response that my exchange has shipped!
So, not only did they stop responding, but their "3-5 day return" is actually two weeks.

I've spent well over $300 dollars in hats with this company. I have been a customer for the last 6 or seven years. I returned a hat that was not exactly as it looked in the picture They told me they don't return the tax you payed!!! (roughly $3.00)
though they wikl charge the next schlub tax again when they sell that hat.
AND in addition they
charge you a $12.95 "Restocking" fee. Fancy name all, for keeping over$15.00 dollars of my money.
Don't complain about Amazon Fashonable Thievery. I could've bought the same hat there.

This was the first time that I did business with you and I want to tell you what a pleasant experience it was! I got a great Stetson Colonel Gambler hat at a great price with great service and handling. This day and age that is a remarkably rare thing. I am impressed, very pleased and appreciate you people. Thank you so much. I am a collector / aficionado of fine hats and wear all the 40 hats in my collection (one at a time of course). I don't leave the house without a hat no matter what the season is. In the future, I will look to Fashionable Hats for my next purchases.

Don't shop here. They said they started in a garage I think they are still working from that same garage I ordered a hat I sized it like they told me to same size that I've been ordering on numerous other hats that I bought now I've got to get it returned before King Kong finds out somebody stole his hat this thing is a full one and one half inches bigger than the size they claim. And then they have the nerve to charge me a $13 handling fee to return their mistake this company is crap I would never buy anything from them again I tried to order from La mood hats and somehow got switched over to this I'm going to check if they are working together now I will never buy another hat from La mood either I want nothing more to do with these people

I've ordered from Fashionable Canes since 2013. They must be using a new call/processing center now. I called with questions before placing my online order, which was: 2 canes, with 2 name/info plates & one purple, wrist strap. I said I'd be leaving town in the next 10 days & I wanted the canes by then. I had ordered two of the exact same name plates with one initial "M" & my contact info. Instead of calling my phone, the man I spoke to sent an email that was routed to "JUNK MAIL" so, I did NOT see the question about the one initial, till 5 days later. I was furious that the rep did NOT call me by the second day, with his production question, especially since he had just spoken to me about the order. When the second rep called, he confirmed my address & said that my street address was not showing up on the order form & they wanted to confirm the city, I'd entered in the order form. I doubt my canes will arrive in time for my trip, but I really hope so!! If not, it was a waste of money to buy 2 nicer canes to specifically use on my vacation. But it was nice that the second rep tried his best to fix this. ~M
Update: My 2 canes did NOT arrive in time for my trip. THEY also SHORTED me ONE NAME PLATE!! When I returned home, my dog-sitter had placed all of my mail & packages in my office, on my desk. Canes were still boxed & waiting for me, Un-opened, with the rest of my mail. The Lily of the Valley cane is so pretty. Unfortunately, they attached name plate, right where the cane strap goes!!! They should've placed name plate below the lily design. I had ordered 2 canes, cut to size, 2 name plates, engraved & one purple wrist strap. They only sent one attached, engraved, nameplate. What a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!

So, ready to order: made my account and found a beautiful fedora styled hat from Stetson: a chatham hat of $125 and with insurance was gonna cost me about $150. but their promise "FAST and FREE Shipping on orders over $100" didn't work out, whether I would like to pay Fedex an extra $87... checked in their shipping policy but nothing that was applicable to me thus cancelled my account immediately

First , hats you can’t really see how it feet before get it , and this company gives no secure , I bought one for 51$ They change me 14$ delivery, when I recorded it , the quality, aparece And size was different! So I call to return it , but I have to pay 12$ to return it and they charge me the 14 $. , so. I lost 25$ for trust in a company that’s lies with they products! Don’t trust it , better go to store they you can try it or like amazon that you don’t loose your money, Fashionable hats , learn how to deal with clients before your also get bankrupt by amazon !!!!
