I had a fantastic boudoir shoot with Erika. She is a great photographer and a wonderful person.
This was not something I had ever done or even considered before, but she put me at ease straight away, had loads of great ideas for the shoot and the results are absolutely fantastic.
I would thoroughly recommend her and I am so grateful to her for this wonderful experience. Thank you so much. x

I recently had some actor headshots done with Erika and I cant recommend her highly enough. Erika immediately made me feel at ease and more comfortable with having the photos taken- something which I know is an issue for a lot of actors when we get our shots done! She also helped and gave advice regarding clothing, hair, casting types etc. I also received the contact sheets the same day and had my edited and retouched shots ready to go the week after (it did also take me 3-4 days to respond to Erika with my choices). With other photographers I've had to wait upwards of a month so I was really grateful to have my photos back so quickly! A lovely experience and a lovely photographer, thank you Erika!

Erika made me feel totally relaxed for my boudoir photoshoot. I was 100% out of my comfort zone but really enjoyed it when I got into it.

I have just received my album and I love all my pictures and couldn't recommend Erika enough to anyone thinking of doing one.

Erika photographed our wedding at Healey Barn in September 2025. From first reaching out, through all the planning, and on the day, Erika was absolutely perfect. She gave really helpful preparation tips, always replied incredibly quickly to emails, and was generally everything we could have hoped for for our wedding photographer.

We loved receiving a few sneak preview pictures so quickly after the wedding and the full album was massive, with every picture really thoughtfully selected, and some beautiful editing.

On the day, Erika was the perfect balance of helpful and being in the background when necessary. All our family and friends have told us about their great conversations with Erika and how lovely she was to everyone!

Definitely 100% recommend for anyone getting married in beautiful Northumberland!

Words cannot begin to express the wonderful experience we had with Erika during our wedding day. We wanted pictures that captured the emotions of the day, the laughter, the love that filled the room. She definitely did not disappoint. We highly recommend her!

We hit the wedding photographer jackpot when we booked Erika for our special day. Prompt, professional and generally lovely from the outset, with excellent communication.
Erika made the day itself even better by keeping stress levels to a minimum, going with the flow and still getting all the shots we wanted as the opportunities arose. She was simultaneously non-intrusive while also being everywhere and capturing every single joyful moment that happened, including the best candid portraits of our loved ones that I could possibly imagine.
The photos themselves are gorgeous; beautifully shot, with atmospheric lighting and a wonderful eye for detail. They are a precious record of the happiest of days and treasured memories.
She’s also a decent, genuine good egg with a kind soul, and charges entirely reasonable fees.
Hopefully I won’t need the services of wedding photographer again myself but would happily recommend her to anyone else in a heartbeat. ❤️

Erika was the photographer for our wedding recently and we just got the images back which are stunning!

I am so glad we went with her for our wedding, me and my Husband aren’t super comfortable in front of the camera but Erika really put both of us at ease and listened to our desire to have more candid photographs.

I had such a lovely photoshoot with Erika. I wanted to find a photographer who would make me feel like I could express myself in my photos. I wanted to look proud and more confident than I feel inside!! Erika understood this perfectly and provided me with some gorgeous photos which I can use as actor / writer headshots. She listened to my ideas on colour and vibe and patiently waited for me whilst I messed around indecisively with my hair! She also was so understanding with my need to have one photo for a tight deadline and I felt like I could ask for specifics. She is also just a wonderful person to be around. Thank you Erika!!

Very quick turnaround for photos, one day for the photos!

Most wonderful wedding photographer, captured the day perfectly

Fantastic photographer , very knowledgable and an all round fabulous person you need on your wedding day ! Erika goes above and beyond and creates the shots no one else does !

From our first meeting with Erika almost a year before our wedding to the delivery of our treasured photographs, we couldn’t have asked for more. Quick to respond to questions beforehand, on the day she arrived in plenty of time and got to work. We barely noticed her most of the time, quietly capturing our handful of guests at their best after helping us with our buttonholes. A photographer might find it easy to get lost in a big wedding crowd, but we had just 7 adult guests plus two children, so there was nowhere to hide. Instead, she became another welcome guest, quietly putting everyone at ease and joining in with the laughter whilst snapping the most natural images possible from our awkward bunch.

If you want a photographer who will shout over the music and take generic photos to post on their glossy, expensive website (that you’ll help to pay for) then Erika probably isn’t the right one for you. However, if you want someone to find you at your very best, and know exactly where to look for it, and look back on images that take you back to a moment you thought that no one else noticed, there’s no one better than this quirky lass in the North East. If she’s available when you need her, it’s your lucky day!

Erika was found by my sister in law online.
We were dubious of having a photographer as we had a micro wedding, but we did not regret it!
We were instantly put at ease- and as a same sex couple, we cannot stress how important this was for us.
Erika listened to what we wanted, giving professional input where needed- she even drove us to the beach for some pictures in front of the sea and castle.
She was extremely helpful throughout- even helping our guests with their buttonholes, and engaging with my teenage niece to put her at ease.
The pictures were beautiful, and timely despite a busy schedule. We received a preview within a week, which got us excited for the final shots. We were not disappointed!
I highly recommend Erika if you want a highly professional, but friendly, good for value service that’s not intrusive!
