Excellent support as our business has grown
We’ve had a really positive experience with Eddisons managing our business premises.
As The MINI Repair Shop has grown, we’ve expanded from our original premises to now leasing three units on the same site. Will and Charlotte have been fantastic throughout, continually supporting us as the business has developed and our requirements have changed.
They’re always approachable, responsive and helpful, whether that’s dealing with leases, liaising with the landlord or helping us work through the practicalities of expanding into additional units.
What’s impressed us most is that their support goes beyond simply managing the property. They’ve taken a genuine interest in our business and its growth, even helping to arrange media coverage and publications highlighting our expansion and what we’ve achieved.
It’s refreshing to deal with people who genuinely seem to want the businesses on their sites to succeed.
A big thank you to Will, Charlotte and the wider Eddisons team for all their continued help and support. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
BTG Eddisons & Roy Pugh Auctions Are At The Top of This Old Soul’s List
BTG Eddisons, (formerly Roy Pugh Auctions) have been a firm favourite at this old soul’s end of the keyboard for more than 25 years.
Why?
This is a very trustworthy firm of auctioneers and consistently offers top quality and interesting property under the hammer.

Responsive and helpful staff
I own commercial property which is managed by the Lincoln office, but live at some distance away. I have found that staff are responsive and helpful, and are good at keeping me informed about what is going on.
Very Good Estate Management
Just over a year ago BTG Eddisons were appointed to manage our residential estate of 90 mixed freehold and leasehold properties along with gardens, garage blocks and car parks at Lincoln. In that time long needed improvements have been made by agreement with the management company. Regular inspections are carried out with issues and suggestions reported. Reliable contractors have been appointed to ensure the estate remains in good and safe condition. Budgets are prepared in a clear format and approved by directors before being implemented. Regular meetings have been put in place and residents are able to make contact at any time if they have concerns. From experience all customer contacts at Eddisons are polite, friendly and helpful. The directors and shareholders have all expressed satisfaction with the way that Ashley, and lately Amy, manage our estate.
Eddisons poor management.
Eddisons manage a building where I own a flat. They are quick to demand service charges etc. but do very little for the money. The paintwork has been in a dreadful state for years and they do nothing. Avoid.
I feel sorry for the landlords
Contacted them multiple times for a rental unit, no response, very poor communications. I feel sorry for the landords.
The worst letting agency!
The worst letting agency!
I have lived in this property, which I rent through Eddisons, for the last ten years.
I have been without heating for months, and my daughter’s bedroom had severe damp and mould that made it unfit to live in. It took five months for them to acknowledge the condition of the room and the impact it had on my daughter’s health. I had to email and call constantly for them to take the matter seriously.
The windows were inadequate, and it took months and months of emails, along with a medical assessment linking my daughter’s asthma to the damp, before they finally took the issue seriously.
Now we have mushrooms growing inside the property due to a condemned bathroom, which the estate agent claims is “normal”. My family and young children have all developed persistent coughs.
On top of this, the first thing the estate agent mentions is rent arrears from six years ago, when I refused to pay rent because we had no heating for my young children. At that point, I was desperate for them to take my pleas seriously.
They take zero accountability and instead blame their tenants for living in unfit housing conditions. Considering the serious risks this has posed to young children, and the laws that have been introduced to protect families, I am disgusted by their conduct.
Poor communication
Sought a land valuation however declined due to lack of team capacity after making me wait for several weeks. Very poor.

This was mine and my partners first private renting. While its still early days, Amy has been absolutely wonderful helping with our concerns and we hope to a continued positive experience.
Thank you Amy xx

**AUCTION
**AUCTION - BUYER BEWARE*
Purchased a piece of furniture from Their Auction which was not described as ‘Built In’. I had to send two restorers with cutting gear to remove it as it was fixed in-place to the wall and floor. We emailed video and picture evidence of the removal. I was promised a proceedure response, however this was not provided, the only thing provided was a verbal and written unprofessional response of denial.

They will ignore you for years
I own a rental property which is managed by Eddisons. Over the years the property has had significant water damage and leaks due to a lack of required maintenance by Eddisons to the roof and gutters. They only stepped in and accepted responsibility when water was pouring into the flat and was a safety hazard to my tenants. They never ever reply...to get a response from Mark or Jason you must ring or email several times a day, for weeks on end. But they will ignore you for months. Every single action or simple request is like getting blood from a stone.
They are the least professional or reliable company I have ever dealt with. They still owe me several promised tasks in the flat like sorting the rotting windows and I know many other owners in the development have been chasing them for years too. It is routine how often we have to discuss their incompetence in our owners forum.
If you can - avoid them at all costs.

Standard, easy, and straight forward
Now a tenant at one of Eddisons' properties. Process was very straight forward - viewed, accepted, and moved in. The letting agent was incredibly helpful and professional.

Renting Privately in Lincoln
I'm privately renting my apartment with Eddisons in Lincoln and have had the best experience with Amy, who led me through the entire process. She's been incredibly responsive to my queries, proactive and friendly throughout, which makes renting on my own for the first time so much less scary. Be that a janky letterbox, adjustments to the (very detailed!) inventory or queries about meters - she's been super helpful and was able to resolve all questions I've had so far within a very short time frame. Super happy with my experience, thank you Amy! :)

Eddisons Transport Morally Redundant
Eddisons Transport provided a mislabelled plan claiming a mini-roundabout in Maids Moreton met safety standards. It did not. I have raised with Mark Foster and Phil Wooliscroft and they had zero interest in correcting this. A morally redundant company
Further to Eddisons response there is nothing on the public record showing that Buckinghamshire Council have confirmed the mini-roundabout conforms to CD116 safety standards. I’m giving Eddisons the opportunity here to provide that evidence. It seems Eddisons believes it can submit mislabelled plans and drawings and it’s the Council’s fault if they don’t meet safety standards. That is a morally deficient position for a company to adopt.
