As a company we signed up with J&J Fulfilment with the hopes that they would streamline our process of dispatching customer orders which would allow us as a small company to free up time to focus on producing new products and managing other aspects of our business.
Instead, we received months of miscommunication, the revelation that important EU paperwork was never completed resulting in our customers being charged twice for custom fees and having to assign one of our team to almost exclusively work to resolve issues caused by J&J and having to follow up with them constantly.
The whole situation has been incredibly frustrating for us, leading to a significant impact on not only our financial stability - due to J&J ignoring our preferred courier as stated in the contract (they insisted that FedEx and DPD were cheaper than Royal Mail) but also the mental and emotional well-being of the team due to the stress of their mistakes and the impact on our relationship with our customers.
As a small business (we have less than 10 employees) we would not recommend J&J at all - especially if you would only like to ship via Royal Mail and have a large customer base outside of the UK.
During our time there, from November 2024 until March 2025 we dealt with seven representatives of the company in an attempt to resolve our issues and it was only Hollie and Claudine who appeared compassionate and empathetic towards our situation. That being said, it took over a month of us to receive our final invoice as we had to request it multiple times in order to successfully end our business relationship with them.

We recently joined James & James and our experience has been nothing short of exceptional. From the very beginning their team, led by Laurie, has been professional, responsive, and incredibly easy to work with.
The speed and accuracy of their fulfilment process have improved our overall delivery times significantly and their system is incredibly intuitive which provides us easy access to track inventory levels, order statuses, tracking details etc.
We also love how pro-active they are in creating different opportunities or providing extra information on different areas within the fulfilment process.
Overall, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend J&J.

I had a very frustrating experience with James and James as the fulfillment provider for a product I ordered. They claimed the package had been shipped several days ago, but tracking shows it was only “announced” to DPD and has not been handed over. As a customer, it’s incredibly disappointing to wait endlessly for a delivery that doesn’t move, with no clear updates or resolution in sight. For businesses considering working with James and James, please be aware that such delays reflect poorly not just on the fulfillment provider but also on your brand.

Super Impressive!
As a small business owner who quite frankly was a little nervous of switching to a fulfilment house, I have been really impressed with James and James. I feel like they have thought of everything! Super personalised service and never made me feel like a small fish in a big pond, even though I am still a small company. We made the exciting decision to move our shipping to a fulfilment centre this year and after speaking to loads of different companies we decided on James & James ... I'm so glad we did as the've been amazing from onboarding to shipping our orders (big thank you to Danielle for all of her help). So far it has been very smooth and they have been shipping all our orders very quickly with no mistakes. We had a few issues but these were quickly resolved. We also sell internationally which they have been able to support. Overall very happy and would highly recommend.

We made the decision to move our fulfillment operation to J&J in July last year.
Ben was our initial contact and was extremely thorough and had a proposal to us within days of making contact.
Once the account was setup we were handed over to Reece for the onboarding, again excellent at what he does and answered any questions I had regarding the portal/processes. Once the onboarding was completed and our first goods arrived into the warehouse, we were then passed over to the support team who have been great so far at answering any queries I have had.
Since moving to J&J the service has been superb. SLA’s have been exceeded and our customers have noticed a massive improvement in how fast they are receiving their orders.

James and James have caused my business long lasting damage, eroding our customers trust in us.
We have been with James and James for nearly a decade. During this time their service level has fallen off a cliff.
- Communication is non existent
- Packaging instructions are ignored
- Packing materials are often replaced with cheaper alternatives without approval.
- Simple rework projects take months
- Storage costs escalate rapidly based on the time
For the past month we have been attempting to leave them, they have levied charges of double what was quoted.
Their focus is on expansion rather than clients. We have now left.

J&J have been fulfilling our orders for a couple of months and during that time any issues were resolved efficiently. We’ve recently completed the onboarding and our client services team are quick to respond to any questions or requests. All in all makes life so much easier and allows us to concentrate on growing the business. I would definitely recommend James and James.
