Too many empty promises
Too many empty promises. The surveyor turned up late and did a poor survey. We had to have less panels and the scaffolders had to return to add extra poles; when extending the poles they just broke several pots in our garden and didn't even tell us; they said they would sort it out but I am still waiting. I have called Solaris multiple times but no-one actually does anything to fix this. The first electrician did what he wanted not what we wanted. The saving grace was Mike, the senior electrician, who was brilliant and sorted out our issues. I felt I had to write this review as I am fed up emailing and calling Solaris.
Update 18th April - finally got compensated for the broken pots!! There must be a joke about how many phonecalls and emails it takes.....
Good customer service
Good customer service. All workmen were quick and efficient. High standard of work
Excellent on going support
6 months after installation, we had a small query, which was attended to and actioned immediately. Still very happy.
Positive experience, minor issues
My decision to join the Dynamis scheme in Leicestershire came about after I had looked elsewhere but couldn't find anyone to design and install a small solar/battery system. Overall the experience has been positive, with regular messages from Dynamis keeping me informed of the process. It has been slow, we were very lucky to get a March installation date after our initial booking was for the end of May. From joining to delivery this would have been over 6 months, but this is at a time where Solar has suddenly become very popular again. I have had the system for four days and I already know that I have done the right thing. I do wish I had got a bigger battery as it wasn't clear what size would have been good for my size property or the amount of energy produced by my seven panels. My only major issue has been with the appication of SEG payments. At no point was it explained that this was not automatic, that the application was up to me to sort out with my energy supplier (Eon) and that I would have to chase things like a Micro-Generation Certification Scheme Number or MCS certificate. Also it appears that with Eon if you have a battery that can be filled from the grid then you cannot claim SEG at all. Would I recommend Dynamis? Yes, but only if you are sure you know what you are doing. The kit they have used is all top notch with good reviews, the panels are working nicely and I now have a much better idea of what I can do next.
Pleasure to deal with from beginning…
Pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. Was always at the end of the phone whenever I had a query. Installation day was quick and efficient, lovely fitters and electrician. Love the app to see when our battery is full (so we can charge the car). Highly recommended.
Tony and the team were fantastic
Tony and the team were fantastic - answered all of our questions and did a thoroughly professional job of installing the solar panels and battery. Would definitely recommend. 👍🏻
Absolutely useless service delivery from Dynamis
Absolutely useless delivery. Tried to do a solar installation with no scaffolding - couldn't get the scheduling correct. Then once the scaffolding was delivered and solar panels installed, they left the scaffolding in place - it's still there 4 weeks later. Despite phoning nearly every day to ask for its removal, and assurances it'll be gone the next day, nothing has happened. Utterly useless..
Unacceptable delays, price rises and scandalous claims
Incompetent company, don't expect an install any time soon and pay the prices you were expecting (or gain the benefits they are claiming)!
I registered through Solar Together scheme - I had a survey in November where they sent me a product brochure with full install prices for the number of solar panels. It has then taken them 4 months to complete a very basic technical design (roof size = no of panels), with no communication whatsoever in between. Not only is this length of time unacceptable, they also sent an updated quote alongside a product brochure where the same number of panels are now costing nearly an extra £800 more despite the delay being their fault!
They are also claiming a 14% year on year cost of electricity increase in perpetuity to try and justify the payback periods. This is scandalous, their response to similar reviews say they have taken this on board - well they haven't and I am waiting to hear back how they can justify this. I will update how this experience progresses!
Unsatisfactory Work and Service.
The initial work carried out professionally by the engineer Dave.
However, the layout of the panels, installed by someone else, was not to the agreed plan as designed by Dynamis and as agreed by us.This left an ugly large gap on the roof. We agreed with Dynamis to fit an extra 6th panel to hide this gap. We received a new plan including the 6th panel and the price for this panel. We agreed to the new plan. But, the price quoted was in excess of Dynamis chart price. We emailed querying the price but received no answer. When we called Dynamis, we were told it was for optimisers. We told Mark Wright, both the surveyor and the engineer, who visited our premises, said we do not require optimisers. We asked to remove this extra cost and we are happy to install the extra panel.
I had also explained we do not need any scaffolding as the solar panels were going to be installed on the first floor. However, I later found out from the scaffolding company that I was charged £600 for this by Dynamis.
We also asked for a battery to be installed. We received the price for this and we sent an email agreeing for the battery to be installed.
Our last two calls with Mark when he said to us “to accept the original layout plan with the gap and pay for the original quote or he will pass our file to Dynamis Debt Collector!!!” This is really charming!!
The installation started on 31/8/2022 and still not come to a conclusion. Our experience with Mark/Dynamis so far has been very stressful. This is an unacceptable service.
We insist to have the 6th panel and the battery to be fitted and we want to speak to another polite Dynamis person.
We will update Trustpilot if there is any progress.
No complaints!
Solar Panel installation completed to my satisfaction and on the (very cold) day promised. Installers were polite, friendly and experienced. An inverter problem after installation was speedily resolved. Best communication method with Dynamis is by email as I always received a reply. Phone enquiries were sometimes not returned.

An excellent installation team that were all a pleasure to have in and on the house
Dynamis fitted my 6 solar panels and battery as at of the Solar Together scheme for Richmond Upon Thames. Getting to the installation was a bit slow, partly me delaying and dithering and partly that Dynamis were I think overwhelmed by the volume. When you were able to speak to someone within Dynamis answers were quick and knowledgable but getting through the call centre was painful.
My installation went mostly smoothly. Once contact was initially established (again a call centre battle) the installations team were then easy to get hold of, proffesional, and responsive and any problems I had were sorted out quickly and well and I felt like a valued customer. The various installers that came to my house were a pleasure to have around and delivered a neat job with minimal clear up requried on my part.
The scaffold was up longer than I would've liked but my installation fell over the Chrismas period, so teams were on holiday.
My solar panels are happily generating power and now on a sunny day I keep looking at the app to see how much!

Great service
This company was helpful, and professional in all aspects of it's service. Communications were clear and easy to follow. All contact was polite.
I didn't go ahead because the prediction was different to what would actually take place. I would have been into my 80's by the time I received payback.
A great experience throughout.

Commitment to Quality and Customer Care
My experience with senior managerial and operational staff at Dynamis has been excellent. The original installation, carried out by a sub contracted company, was faulty. I made a complaint, which was acknowledged as being justified, and from that moment on I was very well looked after. The original faulty work was made good by Dynamis' brilliant chief electrician, and Mark, the Operations Manager, made himself accessible, sharing his personal number with me and checking in that I was OK even over his holiday. They've been quick to recognise that things weren't right and were genuinely empathetic. Most importantly, they put things right and I appreciated the way they went out of their way to be sure that I was happy. This would have been a 5 star review, were it not for the original glitch (I understand the contractors concerned no longer work for Dynamis). I'm really impressed by Dynamis' commitment to quality and customer care - a rare thing in my experience of the construction industry.

Brilliant Dynamis
From the very beginning communication has been clear, relevant and if a question arose the response from the team was very prompt and understandable. The installation was well planned, with no delays or mess. The installation team were polite, friendly and happy to answer questions. The aftercare was excellent and made you feel that the support was ongoing and no issues too small for them to provide help and support. The whole experience felt positive and extremely well organised and deserving of five stars

Very good experience with my installation
I had ordered the job to occur just before Christmas and was initially worried it wouldn't be completed. But the comms were good, and the engineers turned up on time and ensured I was fully accommodated.
Both Tom and Jacob were great and worked very hard throughout the project. It was all completed just before Christmas, and I couldn't be happier with the result.
All materials were tidied up, which, to be honest, is a first when I've hired contractors; there is always some rubbish left for me to tidy away, but not this time, so I count that as a bonus!

Top marks to Dynamis!
Dynamis did a great job from start to finish installing and setting up a Solar PV system with battery storage. The initial consultation was detailed and quoted materials professional. The installation was smooth and trouble free. The installers conducted themselves professionally and let the site tidy and clean. They all factored in all my requirements.
Post install support has been good so far. There were a few teething problems which after a few calls and chasers have been resolved by the team.
I’d highly recommend Dynamis to anyone wanting to install a Solar PV system.

Great solar install from Dynamis
Great solar install from Dynamis. Took a couple of times to get through at first but as soon as they called me back it was plain sailing and they made sure to keep in touch throughout the process. I will recommend to friends and family. Thank you.
