No help - just kept my money
I ordered two parts from DoMyOwn and they were sent to an old address and instead of working with me to get them sent from this address to mine they basically told me to piss off. What a NICE company, thanks for the help!
Their reply: Leslie asked why an order was shipped to Sevierville, TN, instead of their correct Virginia address. Vanessa stated the order shipped to the address provided via Google Pay and is ineligible for refund or reshipment.

I would leave no stars if I could and be very aware they are not an accredited business with the better business bureau. They falsely advertise and say things on there products but the products either are expired or just don’t work. They overcharge and then customer care literally told me that she couldn’t trust me to follow the directions so she wouldn’t issue me a refund. This company is scamming people that have bug infestations it’s very unfortunate and sad but they are bottom feeders completely. I leveled with them and told them I didn’t have the funds to waste on products that didn’t deliver the results stated on the bottle and she wouldn’t give me a refund even though I was well within my timeframe ro do so.
It's legit and does ship out the products

DMO will not make it right, they just give me the runaround about every two weeks with excuses. Zero customer service nor do they care about your experience as long as they get your cash.

My recent purchase of Talstar P has done absolutely nothing to prevent or kill termites, ants, mosquitoes, roaches, beetles, spiders, and everything in between as they claim. I have ants, spiders, beetles, etc. everywhere. They aren't even phased after apply 2 treatments 3 weeks apart.
When I contacted customer service they recommended that I purchase their product for ants (this makes no sense) and are now ignoring my emails.
Non shipment
Ordered something a while ago… they claim it shipped but the tracking number says it was never given to the carrier.. live chat told me that “the carrier probably missed a scan.” They are clearly covering up poor service and I will never purchase from them again.

Want to give them 0 stars. Bought prodiamine, an herbicide in granular/powder form. Package arrive in evening and I brought into to the house and set it in the entryway. Long story short: there was yellow powder on my hands, the floor and outside the front door. At first it wasn't noticed and I touched my face. There were no holes or damage to the shipping box but there was a puncture hole in the plastic container. It and the inside of the box were covered in yellow prodiamine. It had leaked out at the box's corners and underside wherever tape didn't seal. After sending photos and a description of the damaged container, they indicate they would send a replacement. They never did and ghosted me, not responding to my emails or phone messages. I don't know how the hole was created but it had to have happened before sealing the box for shipment. Everyone handling the box during shipment also had to have gotten prodiamine on then. There are lots of options for buying pesticides of all sorts. Give domyown.com a pass, you won't be sorry.

I’d give these fools zero stars, if possible. I’ve ordered from them a few times, and there is always an issue with shipping. I’ve been told my items were deliver, they never showed up. This last order wa made 2 weeks prior to needing the item, to be safe. After tracking the item I saw it glass sat at the PO in a couple small towns over for a week. I called the company, the young lady that answers the phone is too concerned with sounding cute to actually find out why it was sitting still. I called the PO and was told it was shipped back to a different PO in a different state and had no idea why. This company had no idea and didn’t really care. I’ll never spend another dime with this company.

Ordered a gallon of foamer, usps lost it and domyown.com told me to wait weeks just in case it shows up before they will reship it, so i did, still nothing.
Finally when they reluctantly said they would reship they told me it was on backorder and would be a few more weeks. No refund, no apology, just 'deal with it'.

SPAM mongers. I bought from them once and carefully selected not to be on their marketing emails. Yet here I am getting email after email, this mornings emails want me to help their marketing team by writing fake reviews for them.

I bought Carpenter Bee chemical from them. I called them first. Their so called expert suggested to buy DeltaDust. On their website has no indication for it. on their video they have something totally different. Then they send me a wrong chemcial for Bed bug. They also didnot send me the Dust Hander which I paid for. I called them several times. After months of waiting. I called again and now they claim they have no record of phone calls and told to BUY another duster hander. THESE PEOPLE LIE AND CHEAT ON YOU TO MAKE MONEY AND THEY WILL INTENTIONALLY DONOT SEND ALL CHEMICALS AND ITEMS TO FORCE YOU TO BUY MORE. DONOT TRUST THEM> DONOT BUY.

I've ordered successfully from them in the past. But I just found out the hard way they let you order items not in stock. So if you need something right away I would order elsewhere. They won't even let you cancel your order. Pretty crappy on their part
Can't get the order right
I'll have to agree with the other negative comments. DIY can't get a simple order right. Ordered 24 glue boards, got 6 loose ones in a large box. Called, they sent 6 more loose ones in a large box. Operator state they cant open a box to send less than whats in the box. Looks like they did just that anyway, twice. Said they would send me 12 and credit me back for the missing 6. Got the credit but not the 12. Confused yet? Where's the other 12? God only knows. The operator was zero help. She went as far as saying I have 18, no dear, as of now I only have 12. They said theyll ship the remainder, I bet I get 6 more loose ones. If the remaining order is not here soon I'll call PayPal and get my money back. I don't even think this company has a customer service office rather a handful of work from home moms who use a pre-written script. Even if DIY reads this review they dont care. I dont want an apology, I want my order. I'm so done whith these people.
Update: on 6/10/24 I received, you guessed it, 6 more loose ones. So they can open a box and send partials? Got credited back for the other missing 6. Three separate partial shipments cost them just as much as my original order. Hope they read this and have a good laugh on their lunch break.

Several of the products I ordered were used/opened. I’m not even sure if what’s in the bottles is what should be in there since they were unsealed. One of the aerosol cans was completely empty also.
Terrible company to order from
Terrible company to work with. They are all about profit and overprice for quite a few items, please don't fall for their scams. I shop for products (without needing a contractor account) and normally can find products $20-$50 cheaper than this place offers. Their price match policy doesn't apply when you ask (because of "Profit Margins" again).
We fell for this Scam when we ordered from them about six months ago (Termidor SC) to do a preventative barrier and the bottle leaked in shipping - they refused to even respond to requests for a new bottle. Please if you can avoid them I would recommend it.
Shady place
Shop here if you'd like to pay full price for opened products. Seriously though, it's a terrible place, steer clear! I bought a 50 lb bag of pre emergent. And they shipped me a 46 lb bag that had been cut open and taped shut (not damaged in transit, it was clearly damaged and "fixed" before they shipped it). It clearly wasn't an accident since they taped it shut, so they knew it had been opened and lost contents, and the tape job was badly done so it lost more in transit. When I complained, they split the cost of the lost product with me... "For my inconvenience"... really!? What a shady place and such terrible customer service. I'll be shopping elsewhere moving forward and suggest doing the same.
