Deceitful company - I signed up for a free trial in July 2025 after which I selected the monthly service (I did not commit to an annual contract). I used the service only a couple of times in 2025. In August 2026 I discovered that I was still being charged monthly for the subscription and when I attempted to cancel it, I got a message that I have an annual commitment to use the service until August 2027 - so technically I will have to pay for the service for another year. This is very deceitful - first of all, I never committed to an annual contract and second, I never renewed any commitment for another year.
I tried to get support and got a chatbot that I can't cancel for another year and I need to reach out to customer support via email.
All of these other reviews are a big cause for concern.

Unscrupulous merchant practicing nasty billing techniques! Avoid Docuclipper at all costs! They trick you into 12 months billing - then falsely say they cancelled your account after billing you 12 months and RENEW & LOCK you for ANOTHER 12 months - with NO option to remove your credit card from their platform. I've spent hours on their chat and in emails and still getting pirated!

Docuclipper has been scamming me for over a year. They made it impossible to login to my account, when I did it showed I didn’t have a membership. After a year and 3 months I was finally able to cancel my membership, I’m currently talking to my bank about reversing those charges. I have screen shots of it all, do not trust docuclipper. Honestly ai does it all for free. Terrible business!!!!
Do not sign up for this. Their website will show one price, they will try and bill you for the annual price and IF you can negotiate them to refund it back to you, they will then enroll you into the monthly price at a higher price than what is listed on the website. Also, as many noted there is no way to cancel this service online unless you contact customer service which is hit or miss. There is better services out there that is not nearly as shady! I had to go through my bank to be refunded! Stay away from this unethical company!

Stay away from this company they are scammers !
I was charged again without my concent and when I asked for a refund they said that I have used up all 1000 pages available how can I do this when I have not intended to use the service anymore I did not even know that option was available to me
Stay away
Stay away
It will give you nightmares with the bank they will keep lying .
Do not sign up for this service. There is no way to cancel online and there are automated email responces and dodging the cancelation. Automated responce stating you are on a 12 month discounted yearly plan. I have gone past the 12 month commitment and thy still will not cancel. If you want to cancel you wll have to dispute the charges with credit card company. Their website will not allow you to remove billing card info. Very poor businees practices. The service works but impossible to cancel.
I used Docuclipper a year ago to convert PDFs to CSV files. It worked "decent" at the time and you could manually scan the page to make things work. A year later I tried Docuclipper again. I was charged to reactivate my account and charged to use the service again. With their new "update" nothing worked. I could not scan PDF files and ever time I logged in, I had an "Error Code". Customer service tried to fix the issues but failed. They would not give me a refund. They said they would only give me credit for a future service. That gave me a good laugh for a failed product. I do not recommend them, they will steal your money. So now I've been charged 3 times with no success for anything. Great scam business.
I URGE YOU NEVER USE THIS COMPANY
Needed bank statements converted to excel for bookkeeping. Signed up for their free trial, didn’t do anything. It Said I needed a premium plan to use it.
Signed up for what I thought was a monthly plan. It was a 12-month commitment, billed monthly. Cancelled immediately after seeing a second charge.
Credit card is maxed out or else I wouldn’t have noticed they were attempting to charge my card again. Emailed support several times and they keep responding to let us know if we can help with the remainder of your 12 month plan.
No solution. No acknowledgment or goodwill to help their users.
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD RUN FAR FAR AWAY!!!

Absolutely appalling service. zero customer support contact, and continued billing after the subscription was cancelled. After weeks of chasing i still cannot get a reply and there is no phone number to call.
PATHETIC SCAMMERS!
Company continues to try to bill my credit card even though I've canceled. Fortunately, my credit card number changed at around the same time, otherwise I probably wouldn't have noticed. Also, the program doesn't work.
I was charged £27.30 every month for five months without my knowledge or consent. When I log into my DocuClipper account, it clearly states I have no active plan — yet the payments kept being taken. I received no invoices, no confirmation emails, and no correspondence of any kind until a payment finally bounced.
When I contacted support, I was passed between two agents over several days. The first told me I was on a 12-month commitment I never agreed to. The second said the charges weren’t linked to my account and asked me to search my own emails to find the source — despite the failed payment notification being sent to the very same email address. At no point did anyone offer to search their own billing system to resolve the issue or offer a refund.
I cancelled my month-to-month subscription on July 21, 2025. An audit of my bank account showed this company continued to charge monthly subcription fee through March 2026. I contacted customer support and provided a copy of the cancellation email along with a screenshot that showed a 'reactivation' button for my subscription. My customer support emails have been ignored. This is a warning for any potentional customer. If you purchase an online subscription from a service provider like "DocuClipper" that doesn't have a live customer support or corporate phone number, this is what will happen to you.

If zero stars were an option, I would give it. This company is a nightmare. I only discovered recently that they have been charging me for TWO CONSECUTIVE YEARS ($327.60 in 2025 and 2026) without my authorization.
Here is their fraudulent pattern:
No Transparency: After the trial period ended, they sent ZERO notification emails about the upcoming charges.
Trap by Design: Their system is designed so you cannot remove your own credit card information or cancel easily. It’s a classic "dark pattern" trap.
Security Bypass: Even after I replaced my credit card, they somehow bypassed security to charge my new card for the 2026 fee.
Evasive Support: When I reached out, their support refused to address the issue. The manager only provided "official/robotic" responses that did nothing to resolve the theft. They only showed interest in "resolving" the issue AFTER they realized I had filed a fraud claim with my bank.
I have already filed formal complaints with the CFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau) and reported their predatory billing practices to the authorities. With a 1.8-star rating, it is obvious that DocuClipper thrives on stealing money from unsuspecting users. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CARD INFO.
UPDATE (March 16, 2026): > The merchant's reply is misleading. I attempted to contact the phone number provided on the billing statement—it is non-functional.
My actual usage in 2025 was only 24 pages, yet I was charged $655.20 over two years due to their failure to provide the legally required pre-renewal notifications (violating ROSCA).
I have officially filed a report with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regarding these deceptive practices. FTC Report Number: 199053096. American Express is currently investigating this as unauthorized billing. If you are a victim of their "hidden" renewal system, report them to the FTC immediately.

HORRIBLE!!! Scam!!! DO NOT GIVE THESE CRIMINALS YOUR INFORMATION!!!! I tried the free trial August of 2024 was charged over $300 dollars and I never even was able to use this bull$hit service. It was a scam from the start. So I cancelled. I realized in March of 2025 that they were still charging me monthly without sending any receipts, letters, emails Anything. So I cancelled my service in March of 2025( I have the emails confirming they cancelled my service) they continued to charge me monthly and their email response was that when I cancelled they will still charge me for a year and there isn’t anything I can do about it! There is no phone number for this scam factory. I reported them to the credit bureau and my credit card company I pray they receive what they deserve for robbing people

My husband found this software platform for accounting purposes. I thought it was user friendly for uploading bank statements for categorizing and it's putting in itself for my accountant. I can not even get anything done. They reset my account twice it stand stuck in trial even though I paid for the subscription about $300. Wasted two week I just going old school and doing excel myself. It looked so promising, but I can deal with AI BOTS and Emails back and forth need a real customer service support phone with a real person answering calls. I refuse to do business with a company that doesn't have the proper trained employees human, that can problem solve.

Don’t use this company. It’s a scam. I signed up for the free trial and the very same day, they charged my credit card over $300 for a year subscription that I didn’t sign up for. I immediately cancelled and when I disputed the matter, they told me that they would cancel the subscription and give me a partial refund. They somehow resigned me up for a monthly subscription which again I did not consent to. I just got an email from them now basically saying that the matter was closed and that i was outside of the trial window. The trial that I already cancelled. Don’t give these crooks your card information. Their software didn’t even work anyways.

This software is absolute trash. False advertising!!! They advertise connectors and functionality that do not work. they provide a free trial but for the me to actually see if it works on the first run it used up the free trial and they charged me $219 only to see that the main functionality, which is the reason why I chose the company don’t even work. After contacting customer service, which took over 24 hours to get back to me their response was those features are not working at this time. I requested to cancel and their response says we don’t give refunds. Total trash scam company with horrible customer service false advertising, and lacking, basic accurate function. Take your business elsewhere.

Canceled subscription and have cancellation confirmation, but continued to be billed monthly. Support claimed I was locked into a 12-month commitment despite the site advertising month-to-month / cancel anytime. Had to block the merchant through my bank to stop the charges. Use caution. But the times I used it in the past I was able to do what I needed.and had no problem canceling .but now I emailed them with no resolve .felt very scared this time
