I am 35 years old and recently started taking ballet classes in my hometown. All the ballet steps and positions are new to me, so I felt the need to go through every detail of each step to fully understand it before practicing it. Dance Masterclass has been a very helpful tool to improve my ballet technique and skills. The beginner classes provide clear and accessible instructions, so that makes them easy to follow.

I love seeing different videos that they post on Facebook story. It helps me grow as a ballerina! I hope they keep making new and more videos!

I'm really enjoying the technical explanations on the platform. Learning about the biomechanics of ballet and how to optimize technique safely is a big plus. I love the options -- workouts with pilates, yoga, HIIT etc all through the lens of a dancer; ballet trainings for all levels and often with specific focus on a technique or area; masterclasses explaining things like turnout, flexibility, memory, self-esteem. This pretty much covers every need a dancer might have to improve or keep up.

The classes are really good and it is affordable. I spoke to them about some classes I would like to see on there and they were very open to my suggestions.

This app has been excellent in helping me become a better dancer, with a variety of resources, from short series on how to jump better, practice and exercises for better turnout, and somatic yoga to wind down and stretch. Ballet is an international art, and the classical French terms don't stretch to everything needed. The graphic overlays make terms my teachers use like aplomb, rebound, and throw clear without having to use those terms (which are likely otherwise in other languages.) I'm really enjoying these tools and my dancing has improved already.

All in timing, communication was so easy and good

Finding Dance Masterclass made a dream come true for me. With it I can train whereever I am. I am working in an area where dance trainings are not awailable, anyhow I still can progress with Dance Masterclass in the direction of my dreams. The workouts help me a lot by restoring my body from pains and discomfort due unbalanced usage due my work. Since I am doing the workouts regularily I have no pains anymore and my body got stronger and flexible. Jazz and my favorite masterclasses help me getting out of low mood into playfulness, esthetics and joy - there where I want to live my life. That makes me more able to be there for my clients, my colegues and seniors in a creative, supportive way. The esthetics and high professionality of classes and teachers makes me possible to reach the next level in the direction where I want to be. And this is not easy without live classes, but possible due to the high quality of Dance Masterclass.

Dance Masterclass is an awesome online platform for education and training. I am a dance teacher and use this platform nearly everyday for my own training and also as an inspiration for my classes.

DanceMasterClass offers a variety of educational videos for students and educators. As both an educator and a studio owner, I have been very impressed with the quality of its product, the education it provides and the ease of the platform. I highly recommend!

Extremely unprofessional and beyond frustrating. I requested a refund and they kept ignoring my request by sending me automated emails saying I contacted them "by mistake". They sent me the same email multiple times. As if my fingers slipped and I somehow wrote an email. Definitely a scam. This is proof that you cannot trust any online classes.

On this platform I found courses that were not common to find and with incredible quality, I never had any problems and it was one of the tools that I am most proud to be a part of.

I finally purchased the Annual DMC membership in December 2024 – I couldn’t pass up the sale or that Lisa Howell, Physiotherapist was their newest presenter with “The Science of Turnout.” Since joining, I’ve been primarily doing the Workouts for Dancers and find that I’ve already gained a lot of strength and stability. This has improved my turns, balance, developpes and best of all has decreased the pain in my sacroiliac joints and deep hip rotators (I have a long history of instability and pain in these areas). In the Workout section of the DMC site – you can search by Training Type e.g., Feet, Core, Turnout etc. and by Time. I love the novel exercises – which are great for your brain and body – and they’re designed for the unique needs of dancers.
A couple weeks ago I did a Feedback call with Caspar Hees (Co-founder of DMC) and found him extremely receptive to feedback and with a genuine desire to learn more and reach more dancers.
Where do I fit into DMC? I did a little ballet and jazz- just for fun – back in my late teens/early 20s. I’m now 65 years old and returned to ballet at 55. Trying to stay in shape and attend ballet classes has been a personal challenge for me since 2020. Since starting my DMC membership – where I can individualize my activity each day – has given me a lot of hope in my ability to keep dancing!
