These guys gave me a great deal and I had an amazing time. Rented for 2 weeks with the family and my daughter's actually cried when we dropped it off. Plan to rent again.

Booked an RV C25 for a road trip around Wyoming, South Dakota from the UK from Cruise America in Frederick, Colorado. Half way through our trip, water started leaking from out around the outside of the shower and around sink. Have reported this to Cruise America on their customer form on their website nearly three weeks ago on our return, up to now still no response. Very disappointed with this Company. Would not recommend this company or use again.
Easy to drive, perfect for two
Great van, some little problems but would still rent again. We got a fantastic deal too. It was dirty on pickup but actually as we travelled we realised that they are difficult to keep or get dust free! Nature of the beast in the desert. ( Cruise America actually refunded the prep fee, which I didn't ask for, I simply said they need to check a bit more carefully when giving vehicles out and that I understood that it could have been an isolated incident). We really grew to love the RV ( 3 weeks trip) it was a proper workhorse and every thing went smoothly. Just the price of gas but cruise america can' help that!

I made the reservation and completed my down payment, received confirmation email and trip details. A few days later, I received a cancellation notice with no explanation as to why my reservation was cancelled. I emailed back to ask why, but so far they have not responded to my inquiries.

Don't ever rent from this company if…
Don't ever rent from this company if you expect them to deliver what you rented. We rented 3 months in advance, booked an RV campsite in advance, which was non-refundable, and 3 days before we were supposed to pick up our RV to embark on our vacation, they told us it was out for repair and they didn't have any others available at any of their other sites and actually said "yes these things happen" and didn't care that we were out the $220.00 for the campsite and everything else we purchased for our 4 day RV trip. I asked them to reimburse us for the campsite and they refused with a "too bad" attitude. So if you plan on renting from them, be prepared for them not to fulfill their end of the contract and be prepared to be out any money you put out associated with your trip. They are unreliable and don't care about you, the customer. John and Marie Y.
The worst experience renting anything
The worst experience renting anything.
We booked this RV back in February 2026 for October 2026. We got a call two days before our trip telling us it’s cancelled and they don’t have a unit for us. No attempt to fix it, no sorry, nothing!! Now we are stuck without an RV and scrambling for other options. We didn’t even GET the RV and it was rhe worst experience, will never try again.
Poor Inventory Management
Availability was checked twice, booking was confirmed, payment was accepted, but I got a call a few days later claiming that the unit I reserved wasn't available. Super disappointed.
I would do negative stars if I could
I would do negative stars if I could. Not sure I can do anything but warn people and file a lawsuit. In the middle of nowhere in Canada, our drive shaft twisted and broke most likely due to binding in the rear differential. We were in bear country, with a broke down RV, which was uncomfortably tilted at the side of the road. They basically did nothing and wanted me to cancel the contract while we were in a tiny town with no options. I literally had to do a self-rescue to get back on the road, lost our entire vacation, got no help from CA, and had to reroute for a replacement after being told one would be brought to me. Lost planning, lost time, stress, abandonment, mental anguish and fatigue, breach of contract. Nope. This was a worthless trip and CA costed me thousands in time, effort, and frustration. Beware!!
BUYER-BEWARE
BUYER-BEWARE – I was happy with the price when I first called. I was happy with the service when I picked up the RV, but then the problems started. I was given a faulty RV on a special trip I flew my family in for. To net it all out: the microwave failed, the generator failed and filled the RV with carbon monoxide after every use, the bed was hard, the rearview mirrors shook violently, we could not get it heated, the blackwater indicator failed, the hot water was mismarked, one stove pilot failed, the generator exhaust bracket was missing, and the curtains were ripped. They provided no practical repair or replacement. Their offer for these problems? Only $224 (1 night). Yet we returned it 1-might early due to the problems, so we essentially got no refund. It took them over 2-months to review my claim and offer barely more than the rental center offered immediately. A complete waste of time. Cost me more to resolve than the whole rental. Needless to say, I will not rent from them again!!! Details: 1. When I called back 2-days later to confirm my reservation, the price went up, even tho I was told it wouldn’t. 2. When I found out the microwave failed, the rental center said we were too far to come fix or replace it. The service center said the same thing, but said I could drive to a city to get it serviced. Losing 1 of only 4 days was not realistic at all. 3. In the middle of the night when I used the generator for a few minutes, the carbon monoxide alarm went off, so we had to get the kids out of bed and everyone out of the RV into the dark, so we could air it out. 4. Having the leave the windows open a crack due to the carbon monoxide, the heater was useless and we barely slept in 44 degrees at Crater lake. I felt no compassion, no concern for our safety, and certainly no refund enough to cover the problems Cruise America RV caused us. If you do rent from them, consider checking out EVERYTHING before leaving the parking lot. Maybe even have a backup in mind since this many failures suggests to me that anyone can run into problems that they won’t want to go on vacation with.
Think twice before booking with Cruise…
Think twice before booking with Cruise America.
We rented a C25 and have had multiple problems: severe shaking while driving, a water leak, tank issues and a broken window. We spent more than three hours of our vacation at their Las Vegas location while the RV was being repaired. Parts even had to be glued, leaving the RV smelling strongly of glue.
What made the situation even more frustrating was that five other customers came to the Las Vegas location during those three hours with complaints about their RVs, and they were all given financial compensation as if this was completely normal. Yet when we asked for an exchange and compensation, Cruise America refused.
We also contacted customer service, and the communication was extremely disappointing and, in our experience, quite rude. As international customers, it is also extremely frustrating that we cannot simply call customer service and speak to someone directly. Everything has to go through messages.
We have lost valuable vacation time because of problems that should never have been ours to deal with. Based on our experience, we strongly advise other customers to think carefully before booking with Cruise America.

For the booking process Morgan was absolutely incredible. She was so kind and helpful and found us a one rental we had been looking for weeks to find. She also explained the process and walked us through everything.
Never again…
Well before I even picked up the trailer I was told that it was pet friendly at the time I went down to check on the trailer to see if my hitch would work and I was told about my $500 deposit if there was one hair left in the trailer I would be charged $250 and it's almost impossible to clean every hair even human besides dog so it was very discouraging especially when I was told that the employees are allergic or have allergies to dog hair and it's not about the hair it's about the dandruff so anyhow no thank you never again

Dissatisfied
Drove to Dallas to pick up the RV for a two week trip with my handicap son, when I arrived I was told that the RV was ready however the generator wasn’t working. This trip has been planned and now I’m out fees for a trip that we can not go on.
