Caroline and I are beyond thrilled with our new home in Levin. We would like to thank the fabulous team from Compass Homes Kapiti especially Gabe, Regan, Dana, Marli and Kate and all your suppliers and contractors who have been part of building our house. Having never had a stage built house before and didn’t quite know what to expect, we were initially apprehensive of the project but we had an outstanding experience with Compass Homes. You guys have treated us with so much understanding and respect in every step of our journey. Our concerns and questions through the construction were addressed immediately. You made us feel that our satisfaction was your priority and we really appreciate that you kept us updated in the progress of the build.
Thank you again for the comprehensive walk through that we had, for paying attention to the details, for all the efforts and dedication — the kitchen was absolutely beautiful and we are pleased with the upgrades that we made.

Compass Homes Kapiti is building our first home and we could not be more impressed. It seemed really risky to choose to build rather than buy, especially for our first home, but it turned out to be the best decision we've ever made. We're now weeks out from handover and we're just blown away at the whole experience. How many people get their dream home for their first home?

Gabe Williment has been there with us every step of the way - even finding our land before it was advertised. The entire process has been exceptional, starting from the initial meetings when we thought we were just kicking tyres.

Gabe somehow turned our vague, disjointed ideas into a cohesive and functional custom floor plan that checked off our entire wishlist. She really listened to what we wanted, and understood what was important to us. Gabe had tonnes of useful advice and insights, but never pressured us into easier or more popular ideas. She just made it work.

Compass Homes Kapiti has made everything so easy for us, working tirelessly behind the scenes to handle all the admin - developers, covenants, finance, council etc. We could not have imagined how easy building a house can be. We asked so many silly questions, panicked, changed our minds and were generally a pain in the neck at times. But Gabe and her team have endless patience and they just get how big a deal this is for us. It has always felt like they care as much as we do about every detail.

The teams Compass works with are absolutely first-class - special shout outs to Victoria at Mastercraft Kitchens and the teams at Stash, Appletree Designs and Stones Electrical for patiently working through every indecisive thought we had.

It seems like news headlines are always filled with building disasters but our experience has been the polar opposite with Compass Homes Kapiti. We really could not recommend them highly enough. If you're considering building (or even just buying) in the Kapiti region, definitely talk to Gabe and her team.
