I’m glad that at CleanWhale it’s possible to find a cleaner without planning in advance. And cleaners are very effective and pleasant to deal with.

The service was pretty bad. I booked a cleaning service in total around 270 euros and cleaner was so happy when she heard the apartment is empty and she doesnt need to work for long as estimated. However they dont reduct the charge based on it. Anyways, I had no complain about the amount but service was horrible. Even for an empty apartment It wasnt very clean and she probably left after a couple of hours of very basic cleaning. I added almost every service as extra and nothing was as expected. I already contacted them and they offered me a 70 euros voucher but Customer Service doesnt understand something somehow. I booked for cleaning with extra service if I book a service for 90 euros It would cover almost anything I booked. Anyways I strongly suggest you to stay away from them.

Edit after reply: They now completely lie about the total amount, because yes it's the amount I paid but because I used my credits on website and a voucher code. So they only mention about the price they took from my card. Secondly, I said I was completely dissatisiffied from the service. There was no point I was satisfied.

And at last, they say "10 days past" because I ordered cleaning for my empty apartment before I move. How do you expect me to call a cleaner just after I move when the apartment is filled with boxes? You couldnt even clean an empty apartment properly and now you make a comment which is completely untrue. You should be professional, not me. But its opposite now.

How can you call it a "good will" when you couldnt do your job and you need to fix it obviously?

Complete disaster by their comment and customer service.

Edit2: This company tell you lies as a hobby now. I sent them pics of and made a complaint on telegram on 24th of May which is literall the next of cleaning but they only check the date I gave a review, they already knew about to issue but instead they enjoy milking money.

Reliable and trustworthy. Does what they claim. I have used their service many times already now and I've become a regular. Only once I had a cleaner who did not do a good job. Cleanwhale was quick to offer me a discount and make sure I don't get that cleaner anymore. The other ladies I've had did fantastic job.

My apartment was a mess, and I'm not saying it in the "Oh, sorry for the mess" kind of way, I mean an ACTUAL mess. Like 30 bottles of beer all over the place, 2 months of dishes just growing alien life on the sink, toenails on the bathtub, the place just screamed depression. The cleaner came in, laughed, smiled and turned this place into the cleanest state it has ever been in 3 years. She finished in the exact time, she got everything done and even put my clothes into the washing machine. Everything is in its place, I don't know how because most things had no place, but they are. The cleaner deserves a raise.

This is the second time we've used CleanWhale, and we've been very happy with the service provided. The cleaners (same crew both times) were on time and did an excellent job. They also took me around afterward to ensure everything was completed satisfactorily.

Since we primarily speak English--and the cleaners Russian--we utilized a translator app, but I don't find that an issue since we're in Berlin and have limited German skills. (They seemed to speak German just fine.)

Die Reinigungkräfte waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Kommunikation lief gut und reibungslos. Auf Wünsche wurde überalle Maße eingegangen. Meine Erwartungen wurden noch übertroffen. Die Wohnung ist sauber und aufgeräumt.

The cleaning staff were very friendly and courteous. Communication went well and smoothly. Requests were accommodated to an exceptional degree. My expectations were exceeded. The apartment is clean and tidy.

The service is easy to book, even last-minute, and the price is clear from the very beginning.

However, do not expect a professional cleaning. The cleaner that we booked was a pleasant person but it was clearly not a professional. They took a relatively long time to vacuum, wash the floors, clean the oven and the bathroom tiles. After a first go, the oven was still quite dirty. This is especially disappointing considering we paid 12€ for it. The same goes for the kitchen hood. A second pass to the oven made it much better, but it still did not really reach my expectations for a professional cleaning. The bathroom tiles needed a second pass from the cleaner too, as a side of the wall had not been cleaned. I also had to remove most of the limescale from the bathroom by myself.

Finally, considering the apartment was empty, most of the house only required cleaning the floor and the skirting boards. Upon inspection, the skirting boards were still as dusty as before, so I needed to clean them myself. The floor, in some areas still had some of the dirty spots it had before, so I needed to take care of that myself too.

Overall, I do not recommend this service if you need a professional cleaner. It might be enough for a "regular" cleaning.
