Everything has been great from signing up and sending over photos for portfolio all been nice and easy. Love how quick the response is when need to ask any questions and had lots jobs put forward for alread and only signed up 2 weeks ago. great company so far and looking forward to seeing what’s to come!

Misleading, Unprofessional, and Possibly a Scam

I was approached by Celebrity Booker UK about a year ago. They asked for some photos, which I sent, and claimed to be putting me forward for casting jobs. I never heard back with any confirmed roles — just vague claims that I’d been "submitted."

Later, I received an odd email about an Amazon commercial shooting in January 2024, but the application deadline was stated as 13th December 2023. The problem? I received the email in December, leaving little to no time to actually apply — and possibly even after the deadline had passed. It felt like a copy-and-paste casting call just sent out randomly to keep interest up.

Then came the red flag: they asked me for more money to take additional photos — this time in a suspicious-sounding studio I refused. A legitimate agency wouldn’t repeatedly ask for money, especially not under such unprofessional circumstances.

After I declined, I never heard from them again. No jobs, no follow-up, no real communication. I now believe this agency is either completely disorganised or potentially operating a scam.

If you’re an aspiring model or actor, please be cautious. Do your research and remember: real agencies make their money when you get work — not before.

If I could rate none then I would give no stars! Literally take your money and then you hear nothing, if you look closely at what they post on their socials it’s always the same too. I think this place is a scam. Please avoid.

Fairly new to the agency but they have been very good so far. Quick at responding to emails and keep you informed each step of the way.

Signed up and thought great experience, got a couple of emails saying submitting for work and then pencilled in, noticed that it’s all the same photos used on socials for “pencilled in” and “booked” jobs, on signing up it states it says no need for professional photos, yet your pestered weekly to attend professional shoots which you have to pay, it’s definitely a big con, my daughter has been pencilled in on several occasions but never been shown on socials just the same couple of people they use over and over again! Stay clear and look over past reviews and socials before you send money
