The staff were all very friendly and patient as we asked a million questions when we picked up our RV. The check-in & return processes were smooth & painless. The RV was clean & had everything we needed for our two week camping trip.

I’ve been using this company every year and I keep coming back because the service is excellent. There have occasionally been minor issues with the vehicles, but that’s understandable and never a major concern. What really stands out is how the staff handle any situation—they are always friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. Everyone I’ve met has been wonderful. No complaints at all, and I highly recommend them.

What can I say so far best campers rental company . Everything went fast since booking 6 months before rental time and all support on holidays and after when returned to base.Verry friendly team in Toronto . Definitely will use again.Regards Greg W

We were 4 families that rented the same category and paid the same price - our family was given a smaller space - an RV with no slide out dining area.
When asked why we were paying the same amount for a smaller space - we were told the lay out is such - but no one was able to answer why we got lesser space when we paid the same amount.

They charged us for a bike rack - and then emailed us the night before saying it’s not available.

The RV itself was great and the trip was great - the staff tho at station are not really knowledgeable or are willing to be helpful.

Great staff, great Service

A very straightforward arrangement from beginning to end. Booking, pick-up and drop off all super-efficient. The quality of the camper was excellent. I think, from conversations with other campers hiring vans, that the cost was extremely competitive.

Pick centre was very good, staff very helpful and gave fell tour of RV. The return of RV was easy with a quick check round and mileage check.
Now the bad point the slide out jammed and worked only on one motor. CanaDream breakdown asked us to try resetting, did not work. We ended up pulling it back in. Breakdown said carry on holiday (9days)without use of slide, not impressed after spending serious money. We came back to Toronto and they repaired it in 2hrs.

I would have given it a 5 star except for the heavy insurance cost and the 5000 deposit that is expected if you don’t want to pay that insurance cost, this really bumped up our budget by 40% so suggest you reconsider your deposit policy specially when it says that the 5000 deposit will be treated as a deductible even for unexpected instances. Other than that it was super comfortable the RV was in such a great condition and the checkin staff Tim whom we met at your Brampton branch was amazing and super helpful to us first timers!!

I would like to provide a feedback regarding a serious sanitation and maintenance issue with the RV I rented from CanaDream.

During the process of emptying the waste tanks, I removed the sewer cap and connected the drain hose before opening the black water valve, following the proper dumping procedure. However, the moment the sewer cap was removed, black water immediately gushed out uncontrollably despite the valve never being opened.

This incident clearly indicates that the black water valve was either defective, leaking, improperly secured, or that the RV was inadequately inspected and prepared prior to rental. This created an extremely unsanitary, hazardous, and unacceptable situation for me and my family. Exposure to sewage waste poses serious health and safety concerns, and no customer should encounter such a preventable issue.

I am extremely disappointed that a rental unit was provided in this condition. Proper inspection and maintenance of critical waste system components should be a basic operational standard, especially for an RV rental company. The incident not only caused significant distress and inconvenience during our trip, but also required additional time and effort to clean up a situation that should never have occurred.

I expect this matter to be taken seriously and investigated thoroughly. I would also appreciate a response outlining what corrective actions will be taken to prevent future customers from experiencing the same issue, as well as what resolution CanaDream intends to provide regarding this unacceptable experience.

Excellent service, great vehicle, allround excellent experience.

We rented four F350 campervans. The vehicles were new and everything worked perfectly. We were very pleased and highly recommend Canadream. The staff in Toronto were very friendly, helpful, and, most importantly, always smiling.

Although the unit was clean, it had a few issues: broken door handle cover on screen door, when furnace was turned on the AC also ran, causing a bit of a loop with one running cold and the other blowing warm air, the grey/black tank drain hose had a significant leak, toilet also leaked a bit.

Also the person assisting us on pick up was pretty glib when walking through the unit in Brampton. We also had to wait 30 minutes after he disappeared to get some one else to move another RV so we could leave the lot. When we called in for technical support for the furnace/AC issues we got through quickly to a tech. That was great but the tech was a little condescending. Left us feeling stupid after the call BUT the issue wasn’t resolved. Called in an again and the second tech was awesome. She took the time to understand what was actually happening and had us “fixed up” in under 5 minutes.

Absolutely unacceptable experience with CanaDream.
Our family travelled with 3 other families — all of us booked and paid for the exact same RV category. Yet somehow the other 3 families all received spacious RVs with slide-out extensions while we were stuck with the only small RV without one. Same price, completely different experience. Anyone familiar with RVs knows the difference in space and comfort is massive.
Then CanaDream charged us for a bike rack, emailed us the NIGHT BEFORE pickup saying none were available, and still left the charge on our account until we complained afterward.
What was even worse was the attitude from management. Completely dismissive, defensive, and more interested in hiding behind policy wording than acknowledging the obvious unfairness of the situation. Their idea of “making it right” was offering a discount on a future booking — as if we would ever trust this company again after how poorly this was handled.
CanaDream clearly has no issue taking full payment while delivering a noticeably inferior experience to some customers. We won’t be returning — and we’ll be making sure others know exactly what to expect before booking with them.

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding a major inconvenience my family and I experienced during our recent motorhome rental from May 8 to May 13.

The main issue was that the furnace did not function overnight whenever the motorhome was connected to campsite electricity (30 amp). As a result, the temperature inside the vehicle became extremely cold during the night, and my family was unable to sleep comfortably.

The following morning, I contacted your customer support line and worked through several troubleshooting steps with your team in an attempt to restore the furnace, unfortunately without success. I was advised to temporarily use the heat pump while your team searched for available technicians in the area. However, no technicians were available that day, and the heat pump only worked for a short period before failing to provide sufficient heat again. This resulted in another extremely uncomfortable and sleepless night for my family.

Due to this ongoing issue and the inability to resolve it during the trip, we were ultimately forced to cut our vacation short and return the motorhome one day earlier than planned.

At drop-off, I reported the issue directly to the branch manager. He briefly tested the furnace but did so without replicating the same conditions under which the issue consistently occurred — specifically, the motorhome was not connected to 30 amp shore power during the test. Based on that limited assessment, I was informed that everything appeared to be functioning normally and that nothing could be done to compensate for the inconvenience and losses we experienced.

I was then advised to escalate the matter to head office, which is why I am reaching out today.

This issue had a significant negative impact on our vacation experience, caused considerable discomfort to my family, and resulted in the loss of part of our trip. I am therefore requesting that Canadream review this matter and consider appropriate compensation to help recoup some of the costs and inconvenience caused by this unresolved equipment issue.

The reservations staff and handover in Toronto was excellent - the staff were helpful and sorted everything out in a very professional and friendly manner. The online communications and pre-registration communications directly from the company were automated and didn't take account of a non-standard booking... Everything went well and we were able to personalise the booking with exactly what we needed which had been difficult to do online.
