Pickup was easy, staff were friendly and helpful. We were on the road in a clean, modern RV without delay.

Dropoff was also a breeze, with no surprises.

Booking process was good and straightforward.

The campervan was ready to go, clean and outfitted as promised on pick up day, and no concerns with the unit on our 8 day rental. CanaDream customer service staff were quick to respond to any questions we had, both in the weeks planning the trip, and during the rental period. Traveling in a RV is a huge upgrade from camping in a tent-I don’t know why we didn’t think of doing this years ago!!

We've just returned from our latest camping trip with Canadream leaving from Toronto and returning in Halifax.A beautiful trip as always but since it has been taken over by THL there are clearly changes that could have an affect on the name in the future. Firstly the positives,The staff at both locations were fantastic as always and the check-in process is easy and clear. The RV was a year old but had a few issues mainly because of having the drains from the black and grey tanks being opposite each other and not next to each other. For the rest everything was great. The only real issue we had is that now you only get utensils now for the number of traveling guests and not for what the camper was made for. that means in our case only two of everything. This might be a new rule to cost save but it has a real negative affect on the reputation. we bought ourselves new plates for 3,30 USD and mugs for1,99USD from Walmart ourselves. Canadream is the top rental company in North America,that is why we return every year but please think about consequences when you change your rules.

The team provided exceptional service and support. The recreational vehicle was impeccably maintained. We appreciate the positive experience we had this week. We look forward to reconnecting next year.

We rented an RV in late April and it was wonderful. The RV was spotless! Check in online and then on site was great and seamless, as was checkout when we returned. Everything was in great condition, comfortable and easy to handle. I would definitely recommend CanaDream and would rent from them again.

Staff was helpful and they prepared the vehicle immaculately.

1) My husband and I had reserved a 27' motor home for 25 nights Sept. 16 to Oct. 11. However on arrival we found we had been assigned a 31' rig due to unspecified mechanical issues. We emphatically did not want the larger unit. The staff seemed to think this was an 'upgrade' and were not sympathetic to our displeasure at the increased size. Initially we were offered a complete refund, which would have left us stranded as we had flown from BC with a detailed itinerary and numerous reservations. We asked for a refund of the difference in cost between the 27' and 31' in recognition of the hassle. After about 1.5 hr. the site manager reached his superior in Calgary and a final offer of a $500 refund for the 31' rig, or (again) the complete refund. Essentially "go big or go home". While we appreciate that a smaller unit was apparently just not available, it was the attitude of the staff and the inadequate remuneration that affected our experience negatively. Many times on our trip we were frustrated with the increased motorhome size.
2) We were not satisfied with the "add-on" system (price-gouging) at CanaDreams. When you rent a hotel/motel room with a kitchenette, it comes outfitted with a set of dishes, utensils and cookware for at least 4 people, the bathroom is outfitted with 2 sets of towels, and the bed with linens. Your motorhomes should come outfitted with these (and more) standards.
3) Even with a "Kitchen Kit" and "Linen Kit" add-on, in a rig that accommodates 6 people, we were provided only 2 bare minimum place settings. Items that were not provided and should be considered "standard" galley items include: a basin for washing dishes (in units with an over-sized kitchen sink), a rack or cloth to put wet dishes in/on, a waste bin, toaster, drip or Bodum-type coffee pot, tea pot. The Keurig-type coffee system could be an "upgrade" for an extra cost. Linens for the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom (that should be "standard" and included) were bare minimum in number. Towel racks or hooks were non-existent.

This was our first RV trip, and the experience was fantastic. The equipment inside the vehicle was all very useful. We were just unaware that most campgrounds in the eastern part of the country were closed, so we mostly slept at Walmart. The vehicle pick-up went smoothly. We hope to have the opportunity to use a CanaDream RV again in the future. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our trip with Canadream. The RV had everything we needed! We took our dog Sadie with us and she was a great travelling companion. We spent two weeks in Newfoundland, weather was great, leaves were so colourful. We had no problems at all! Great road trip!
