The quality of the clothing is Horrible
The quality of the clothing is horrible. I swear that the one blouse that I ordered would probably shred in the first wash because it is so thin! As for the second blouse, the print look like it was photocopied on instead whereas the picture looks like the details are stitched on the blouse.
You have to pay to return to China! Where the “boutique” is advertised as being from Montréal, and run by 4 sisters!
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!
I learned my lesson the hard way
I learned my lesson the hard way! Ordered a cotton/linen dress. It is 100% polyester. Terrible. Can’t return, they won’t get back to me.
Do not, I repeat, do not order from them!!
Scam website
Scam website. After a month my 'item' arrived and it was nothing like what I purchased - it was horrible, horrible quality, material, construction. after dealing with their AI responses and trying to negotiate a refund (which involved providing them with even more information) they promised a partial refund....still waiting for it. Angers me to see their ads on Pinterest and other places.

Rubbish qualitiy and zero customer care or response !
When is somebody going to shut this comany down ??????..i have been trying for months to get money back , they lie about sending a returns forms , they try to persuade you to buy more from their decieiving website by using genuine designer images and selling poor copies for exorbantant prices ! lost for words ..
Do NOT
Do NOT, do not buy from this company!
I fell for what looked like a really pretty outfit, only to be sent a cheap, frumpy poor quality piece of garbage that wouldn't wear to clean my house.
Poor quality.
Poor fabric.
The return process to China cost more than the outfit!
Buyer beware!
Don’t buy from Boutique Élegance
Pretty well every aspect of Boutique Élégance was a total disappointment. I’ve reached out to them in the hopes that Someone will have the decency to respond.
I ordered from them based on the misleading advertising that their company is in Montreal. It was written in French which I can read, speak and fully understand. I’m Canadian and am boycotting everything US possible. Imagine my frustration when I noticed that the order had been processed and shipped from the States. And got stuck in customs. And was simply a piece of crap. And their return policy says no refunds only store credit if on sale which it was. I should have done a deeper dive. That’s on me. Please don’t buy from this company. It’s not operating honestly.
There must be a government agency in Canada where these types of companies can be reported and flagged regardless of clever loopholes used. I shall research this.
Save your money. Save the landfills. Save your time.
Boutique Élégance is more of a Boucheap Alagarbage.
⭐ 1-Star Review
⭐ 1-Star Review
I am leaving this review because people deserve to know exactly what they are risking before they spend their money with Boutique Elegance. Other names they go by "Boutique Elegance Bordeaux", Legal company name "MatchMarketing."
I purchased a sweater after repeatedly seeing it advertised online, including through Pinterest, where the product was presented as a soft, knitted, wool blend sweater. The images and overall presentation created a very specific expectation about the material, texture, and quality.
What I received was nothing close to that.
The sweater that arrived was a polyester, printed, stretch fabric, not a knitted wool blend sweater. The material was completely different. The look was completely different. The feel and quality were nowhere near what was being advertised. This was not a small variation. This was not a matter of preference. This was a clear and significant discrepancy between what was marketed and what was delivered.
That is the real issue here.
A company does not get to continuously advertise a product in a way that leads customers to believe they are buying one thing, then send something entirely different, and hide behind policy when the customer raises the issue. That is not transparency. That is not accountability. That is not acceptable business practice.
🔁 The Return Process
What made this even worse was the return process.
Instead of being offered a reasonable domestic return option, I was required to send the item back overseas to China at my own expense, which cost me $59—nearly the cost of the item itself.
Think about that.?
A customer receives a product that does not match the advertising, and then has to pay almost the same amount again just to return it.
That is not a customer-first process. That is a system designed to shift the burden entirely onto the buyer.
📩 The Follow-Up Experience
I followed their instructions. I provided documentation. I resent receipts, return details, and proof of shipment multiple times.
I had to do all of the follow-up, all of the clarification, and all of the work just to move this forward.
And even after all of that, I was not fully reimbursed.
The original shipping fee was withheld $4.95, (on their site they state shipping is free? clearly not the case), but I actually paid $4.95.
The $59 return shipping cost remained entirely my loss.
That is what makes this situation so unacceptable.
⚠️ Bigger Concern
This is not about dissatisfaction with a single product.
This is about:
A product that does not match its advertising
A return system that places financial responsibility on the customer
A lack of full accountability when the issue is clearly on the seller’s side
It is also worth noting that this business operates out of Montreal, Quebec, which reflects poorly when basic expectations of accurate representation and fair resolution are not met. Only to find out that it's only an on-line store.
Regardless of location, there is a responsibility to ensure that what is being advertised aligns with what is being sold.
That standard was not met here.
🚫 Final Thought
This entire experience was frustrating, time-consuming, and unnecessarily difficult.
No customer should have to spend this much effort, time, and money correcting a purchase that was not accurately represented in the first place.
If you are considering purchasing from Boutique Elegance, or other name's that they go under is "Boutique Élégance Bordeaux", and legal name is "MatchMarketing" out of the Netherlands, company address is Rendementsweg 20a, Mijdrecht 3641 SL, Netherlandsunderstand, CRN; 92157548, D-U-N-S number: 494939500.
👉 What you see in their advertising may not be what you receive
👉 If there is a problem, you may be required to pay significant costs to fix it yourself
🔥 Closing Statement
If a company cannot accurately represent its products and cannot take full responsibility when it gets it wrong, it should not be asking for customers’ trust in the first place.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business.
This company has my case one half year
This company has my case one half year. They took 71 euros from my bank, sent one bra deliberately with holding the second and buy one get one free. That's 3 items in total. Appalling business. The continuous emails of apologies and buy more is dishonest. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM BOUTIQUE.ELEGANCE Criminals.
The fabric is cheap and polyester and…
The fabric is cheap and polyester and terrible. They advertise as Boutique Elegance Montreal and the address one is sent to return the purchase is in China and the shipping costs over $30! It’s a scam don’t shop here at all. It was shipped from Missauga . Definitely forcing you to not ship and forgoe your refund! Very frustrating.
HOT TRASH!!!!
I only gave this review a one start because zero isn't an option.
CHEAP garbage. Material feels like it is made from 1970s tablecloth.
Tried returning my wife's dresses and get told to return to CHINA!!! Tracked shipping from Canada would be $77. Obviously not worth the cost to return.
Councidently, our Apple pay wqs hacked shortly after using it to pay for this junk.
BUYER BEWARE!!!
This is s pure scam
I ordered a pair of ladys low boots fir $64.95 on September 11th. They never arrived and whenI enquired, I was told it was stuck in the mail. After several months and multiple attempts to either get the boots or a refund, all that was offered was a credit and not for there full amount. I was told that the item was out of stock but, it is still offered for sale on the website. I supported this site as I thought they were Canadian. This is just a scam and I am out cash and have lost trust. It is shameful what they are doing.
A bad experience on a false website.
I had ordered 4 items. I was expecting 1 parcel but they came in 3 separate parcels. First 1 took 12 days to arrive, the 2nd.one arrived a few days later, the 3rd. one took over a week more.
The materials, colors, sizes were not as I had ordered at all. The quality of the items was poor and not how the website shows.
I did email them during this time. I did get the return label and the cost was mine. Very expensive to mail back.
They do try to bargain with you by offering discounts on other items. They have a pretrentious attitude, of course, about how the refund will be sent back to the customer, once they receive it at their facility.
It never happens because while the package was tracked back to their operating city of Guangzhou, arriving promptly by Canada Post, my package is still sitting there in customs waiting for the users to pay the taxes on it. Today March 15, the package waits for them to pay the taxes and it is now going on 3 weeks.
They have falsely explained on how they were experiencing problems and they try to bargain with you to get half the refund soon and half the refund once it is at their facility.
I was scammed because I did not read about this website sooner. It has been a loss of my time, cost and a learning lesson.
This was on Pintrest by the way, and I am sure that they have other websites showing false shopping on Pintrest as well. They seem to have the upperhand right now.
After this started 3 months ago, I went to my bank and had commenced the dispute. The bank did refund me and it is in their hands right now.
They, whoever they are, do not take responsibilty nor do they care.
As for me, and I do not shop online very often, it will not happpen again. I am out of pocket for shipping back and the customer takes the brunt of it. And that is why they do not offer return shipping free.
What a lovely spa and the service was…
What a lovely spa and the service was exceptional, felt extremely welcome and comfortable my teeth look so white definitely recommend to friends and family
Scam scam scam
after multiple emails, showing definitively that I received the wrong garment they still would not send me a prepaid label to return it. This company is nothing but a scam no longer in Montreal working out of the Netherlands, ordering things in China taking forever to finally arrive crumpled up. I do not understand how Pinterest can agree to have them advertising on their website. I used to love Pinterest, but now my interest in Pinterest is waning.
