Great rug, confusing logistics
Bought a rug from the Bolia outlet in Geneva. Rug was in great condition and Bolia honoured the discounted price, so I’m happy with the product.
The issue was logistics and communication with Planzer. I paid for transport from Planzer Geneva to the Planzer Zürich distribution centre (not home delivery), but once it arrived there, Planzer treated it as a home delivery and started scheduling delivery dates weeks ahead. When I called, they confirmed it was set up incorrectly and implied the price could later be “recalculated” and charged higher, which is not acceptable when the mistake isn’t the customer’s.
When I raised this with the Bolia Geneva store manager, I was dismissed rather than helped.
Pickup at the Planzer Zürich distribution centre was also unclear (no instructions on where to go, and I was initially told payment was cash-only before they corrected it and confirmed it should be billed via Bolia).
Bolia should provide clear written instructions for outlet logistics (hub transfer vs home delivery, timelines, pickup steps, and billing).

Normal and reduced prices
No problems ordering the furniture, actually our third Boila product. However, I find it quite annoying that one has to wait for the right moment until a "sale" is starting. It feels a little bit like trading at the stock exchange. One week prices are up, the next week prices are down! So you can easily loose a couple of hundred Swiss Francs when you're buying too early or too late.
