Big Idea Design/BigiDesign Corrected the Error
Update:
Big Idea Design reached out and replaced the order, so all's well that ends well.
Noteworthy: Issues are a possibility for all retailers, carriers, and payment methods (all online shoppers are well aware of this); the important thing is that problems are rectified and made right — which BigIdeaDesign did.

The first order arrived damaged.
I didn't expect to hear from anyone since BigiDesign (Big Idea Design) doesn't offer online chat or phone support.
Surprisingly, I received an email with a link for a printable return shipping label, and the representative initiated a refund.
Before placing a second order for the same item, I requested that it be inspected before shipment to ensure it wasn't damaged, as the first one was.
The tracking details for the second order were incomplete, and I was notified that the order was "undeliverable" and "returned-to-sender." USPS informed me that the address on the label was incorrect (eg street, suite number, city, and zip code weren't mine).
I attempted to contact customer support at BigiDesign for several days and received a response after one week. The second order was returned to the sender via USPS, but unlike the first issue, the second order presented a challenge.
I haven't figured out why e-commerce online retailers who are official Shopify merchants all seem less than optimal, but in my experience, that is often the case.
