Perfect way to see Philadelphia. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. Loved the freedom to hop on and off at any point. Would highly recommend.

Excellent I took my family of 4 and we highly recommend.

Why would you want to tour a large city using any other mode of transportation? The tour guides were phenomenal! The ease of hopping on and off was not stressful. Ginger and Ms. Z know their history. With a little bit of humor added, the tours were so fun we took them each day of our visit. It is worth it!

Great tour and experienced and knowledgeable guides. Great if your in town for only a few days and want a nice tour.

This is a great way to see Philadelphia when you only have a short amount of time. The guides are awesome, and the bus runs regularly. My advise start as early in the day as possible as there is lots to do.I would certainly recommend it.

Definitely recommend this tour! We did the two-day hop-on hop-off Philadelphia City Tour and had various tour guides. All the guides were knowledgeable, helpful, funny - great tours!

The tour was very good. Enables you to really see Downtown Philly and all the sights. Make sure you get a bus without squeaky breaks as this did NOT allow you to hear and got very annoying

Best way to see the city. Convenient to go visit various sight seeing spots.

Left us stranded!!..
at the end of the day when they shortened (without warning) the final bus run due the 2017 NFL Draft Convention in town. Without warning. Told us to "take a cab" when I call them. That was there response without caring at all. Never even apologize for the inconvenience. Very disorganized. Poor communication to the passengers. People left confused.

The driver of one of our buses was new on the job and spent most of her time with her cell phone to her ear. At one stop, she somehow managed to turn the A/C off and couldn't get it back on. Then she turned everything off and couldn't get the bus going again, couldn't even get the doors open to let us out of the sweltering bus. Just when we thought we were going to die of heat stroke, she got the doors open and we left the bus. When the next bus came, we asked the guide if it had air conditioning. He said, "We're not selling AIR CONDITIONING!" I told him, "You're not selling TIRES either, but I sure hope the bus has 'em!" Very rude of him, especially on a day where the temp was 91 degrees. The buses needed to run more often, also. They run every 25 minutes, but some of the sites take a lot less than that to visit, so you end up standing around in the heat waiting and waiting for the next bus. The best thing I can say is that it saved us some shoe leather, but improvements certainly could be made.

when you dont start at the starting Point you have to wait a Long time until the bus will pass by. we start at Point 17 and the bus was 30min "to late".

Fun tour but weak on the logistics. 1) The email confirmation said to download the app but the app didn't have our city (Philadelphia). 2) We saw several buses pass by without stopping. We called to ask why, and after being on hold for 10 minutes, the operator said they were private charters. We told her our location/cross streets and she confirmed that one would be by shortly at our location. When it eventually came, the driver picked us up but let us know the stop was actually further down the road, and to look out for a yellow sign--info that would have been useful for the operator to give. 3) Map from the website wasn't entirely accurate. Tour guides were good and it was fun once we actually got on but the website and customer service could be much more useful.

Couldn't ride the buses at all due to overcrowding. No response to our refund request from customer service. Awful all around and would never recommend it

Great tour with lots of facts we had never known about Philadelphia. If it is nice weather out, I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. Our group started inside the bus due to the rainy weather but eventually we braved the elements since your visibility is restricted unless you are riding upstairs. Only reason for not giving a 5 star rating is weather can play a huge impact on your enjoyment. Also, it was on the more pricey side than I am used to for bus tours. Overall, it was a great experience.

I have used Big Bus Hop on Hop off tours in several cities and have always loved the experience. This time we stayed on for the 1 hour tour (NFL draft shortened the trip), then went around a second time and stopped at a couple of places for a little while. Bought tickers on-line and appreciated the ease of use (and discounts available) of the website, and the tour people were friendly and informative. We will be back!

The guides could be better, be more comprensive with people that don't speak english perfectly and be better with the information they give about the city (they seemed to be very sarcastics). The stops weren't clearly identified in the streets and the time between buses was too much.

We learned many interesting details and saw most of the city.

It rained on the day I went and had to wait over an hour and a half in the rain to get on the bus which had empty seats. Everything seemed disorganized and the employees seemed frazzled by the situation. When a bus actually came, everyone was running and pushing to get on the bus, and the staff did nothing to control the crowd. The tour itself was good once I managed to get on the bus. Good sights.
