B2proxy Extremely irresponsible

I purchased two U.S. IP addresses from them. They assured me that everything would work properly, but after testing, both IPs were identified as Chinese IP addresses instead of U.S. ones.

When I contacted customer support, they agreed to replace them with two new IPs for testing. However, after I completed the tests, they refused to acknowledge the issue and claimed that too much time had passed, so they would not provide a refund, replacement, or any after-sales support.

A company like this should not be operating in this way. When a problem arises, their first reaction is to make excuses and avoid responsibility rather than resolve the issue or provide proper customer service.

In the end, since the IPs were unusable, I requested either a refund or a replacement, but both requests were denied. Just because the product is virtual does not mean a company should be allowed to ignore its responsibilities and provide no after-sales support whatsoever.

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your feedback.

We are sorry to hear about your experience. Based on our experience, it is quite unusual for a U.S. proxy IP to be identified as a Chinese IP. In some cases, results like this may be influenced by local network settings, proxy configuration, browser environment, or the detection method being used, which can cause a website to display the user's local IP information instead of the proxy IP.

That said, we take your concerns seriously. After reviewing your feedback with our support team, we have already reached out to you via email and are actively investigating the matter.

We appreciate your patience and the opportunity to address this issue. If you have not yet seen our latest email, please check your inbox and reply at your convenience so we can review the details together and move forward as quickly as possible.

Best regards,

**AVOID B2Proxy

**AVOID B2Proxy — They Sell Datacenter IPs as "Residential" and Refuse Refunds**

I purchased what was advertised as "static residential ISP proxies" from B2Proxy. What I received were clearly **datacenter IPs**, not residential IPs.

**Evidence:**
I tested the IPs through ipinfo.io and ip2location.com. The IPs show:
- ASN belonging to cloud providers (AWS/Microsoft Azure/Google Cloud)
- ISP field shows hosting companies, NOT residential ISPs like Comcast, AT&T, or Charter
- Blacklist checks return positive flags

This is NOT a "non-business issue." Selling datacenter IPs as residential IPs is **product misrepresentation**.

**Their response when I asked for a refund:**
They claimed "residential IPs also flow from servers." This is deliberately misleading. There's a fundamental difference between:
- A residential IP: assigned by an ISP to a home user, ASN shows the home broadband provider
- A datacenter IP: assigned by AWS/Azure/Google Cloud, ASN shows the cloud provider

These are NOT the same. B2Proxy knows this. Their response is a deliberate attempt to confuse customers and avoid refunds.

**Result:** Refund refused. Account still active but the product is completely unusable for its advertised purpose.

**Trustpilot red flags:**
- Only 18 reviews, most 5-star reviews are suspiciously concentrated in August-September 2025
- The one recent negative review (April 2026) describes the exact same issue I experienced — IPs rotating to different countries, refund refused
- Their own blog "2025 Major Seven Residential Proxies Comparison" puts B2Proxy #1 — shameless self-promotion disguised as independent review

**Do not buy from B2Proxy.** They use deceptive marketing to sell datacenter IPs at residential prices.

Hello,

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We take such technical concerns very seriously and would like to address your points directly to clear up any misunderstandings.

1. Regarding the IP Classification (Residential vs. Datacenter):
We understand your concern regarding the ASN showing as a hosting provider on platforms like ipinfo.io. In the global IP market, many genuine residential ISPs lease infrastructure or use BGP broadcasting through major data centers. This can occasionally lead third-party databases to mislabel residential/ISP lines as datacenter IPs. We assure you that our "Static Residential IPs" are sourced from ISP-registered blocks, even if the routing infrastructure appears complex on certain lookup tools.

2. Database Discrepancies:
IP databases are not real-time and often have lag in updating their classification. We recommend cross-referencing with other professional tools like Scamalytics or IPQS, which often provide a more nuanced "Fraud Score" and "Type" assessment for proxy users.

3. Our Refund Policy and Service:
We apologize if our previous communication felt dismissive. Our goal is never to mislead. If the specific IP block you received does not meet the advertised "ISP/Residential" standard upon our secondary internal audit, we are more than willing to provide a replacement or process a refund in accordance with our policy.

4. Transparency:
Regarding our blog and reviews, we take pride in our growth since 2025 and aim to showcase our strengths. However, we respect your right to skepticism and are committed to improving our transparency based on your critique.

Please contact our support team directly at [support@b2proxy.com] with your order ID. We would like to re-examine your specific IP list and find a fair resolution.

Best regards,

B2proxy

B2proxy are the worst you can come across, the good reviews you see are all probably paid ones, they are very horrible and unreliable, I bought a residential proxy from them only to see different Ips in a second from different countries other than the one I selected.
I repeat do not buy anything from them, they're shit.
They refused to refund me also.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your feedback. To better assist you, could you please clarify whether you are using our Rotating Residential Proxies or Static Residential Proxies? Here is an explanation for both scenarios:

For Rotating Residential Proxies:
We currently support precise targeting at the country and state levels. Regarding the mismatch issue you mentioned, this is not a common occurrence, and we haven't received similar reports recently. However, if you are targeting a niche region with limited IP resources at that moment, there is a slight possibility of a matching anomaly.

For Static Residential Proxies:
Our Static IPs are strictly assigned to their specific regions. However, please note that different IP databases (such as MaxMind, IPinfo, etc.) may update at different frequencies, which can lead to conflicting results across various testing tools. We recommend cross-referencing with at least three authoritative databases. If you have a preferred platform that shows a discrepancy, please let our support team know, and we will be happy to assist you with an IP replacement.

We truly value your experience and are committed to resolving this for you. Please feel free to reach out to our support team for a deep dive into your account settings.

Best regards,
The B2Proxy Team
