Extremely bad packaging.
The original package was a taped together shredded box that looked like it fell off a truck - and was then run over. Fed Ex repackaged the box by putting it in a larger box. Luckily, the contents were well packaged and survived whatever experience that the box went through. The plastic clam shell of each product was damaged, dented, and torn. But the scope and red dot survived.

As you already observed, the repackaging happened in the shipper's hands. While this is certainly upsetting, it is not the fault of Umarex that this occured, that being the initial damage that required the item to be re-boxed. We would be glad to address any issues with the product. Please reach out to us regarding this. Shipping issues do arrive from time to time, but as a consumer, one must keep in mind that today's ecommerce landscape invites third parties into the transaction so that the consumer saves time and money from going to a retail center to pick up their purchases themselves. While the retailer needs to know about such issues, rating the retailer poorly for an issue with the shipper is not fair to the retailer, nor is it fair to the shipper. This would be like buying a coffee in a drive through and subsequently spilling it by hitting the curb on your exit. The coffee shop is not at fault, but would likely re-make your coffee as a courtesy for you having a bad day.

Hard to beat this scope for the price
Hard to beat this scope for the price. Glass is nice and clear. Etched reticle is outstanding on this scope. My only complaint is the eye relief doesn't quite seem to be the advertised 3.5 inches. Overall I really like this scope and plan on purchasing a couple more.

Alright telescopic sight!
Ordering and shipping was excellent. This is my first experience with a telescopic sight that is rated for low light use. I haven’t as of yet had the pleasure of using it in low light situations. However, performance otherwise exceeded my expectations! This will absolutely be my “go to” choice for all of my telescopic shooting needs. The Picantinny mounting system is much more sturdy and will change over to other shooting tools quite easily. Windage and elevation adjustments are easily obtained for the most accurate experience that I’ve had thus far!

Controls are a spongy rubber
Although the delivery went fine, I was actually unpleasantly surprised at the overall cheap-feeling quality of the products.....ESPECIALLY the weapons-mounted light. The controls are a spongy rubber. None of the controls are very positive on either the light or the red dot I ordered. That was a shocker and very disappointing overall.
