I chose AMEX Moving & Storage because their quote seemed reasonable, but I was hit with so many hidden fees that the final cost was nearly double what I expected.

Vicente and Malvin arrived ready to relocate my family's whole collection of possessions. Moving out of our apartment and leaving behind scratches—our tenant is quite picky about these things—was my biggest concern! I've never worked with a moving company in NY that would be better than AMEX MOVING & STORAGE. The staff is friendly, helpful, and nice. They were on time and very efficient throughout the whole moving process. If I ever need to move again, I know who to call.

I was speechless with how superbly Kendry and the crew handled my pool table. They paid great attention while packing and secured it with padding, thick cloth and blanket from every corner. They even carried it carefully down the stairs. I received it unscratched. Relieved to have finally found reliable movers!

I’m so glad I chose AMEX MOVING & STORAGE for my office move. Juan and Vicente were amazing. They packed up all our computer equipment and office furniture with bubble wrap and cardboard boxes. They also helped us set up our new space by placing everything where we wanted it. They even connected our computers and printers to the network. They were very careful and efficient.

The movers were exceptionally careful with our fragile items, securing each of the 10 glass shelves with bubble wrap and packing tape. They managed to fit everything, including a large piano, into a single 26-foot truck without any issues.

No need to call over and over, get the quote online and good to go. The movers were on time and very nice making sure our stuff did not get damaged be it a tiny frame or bulky furniture. Making everything less stressful they deserve 5 stars!

I decided to do the move myself
I decided to do the move myself, although I required assistance with the heavier lifting. AMEX MOVING & STORAGE changed the game by providing labor-only services. When they showed up on schedule, the movers were prepared to take on the difficult process of loading the vehicle. They maximized the space inside the truck by deftly packing large, cumbersome furniture such as a sectional sofa and a king-sized mattress. Their support made my self-move go well and quickly.
