I asked to switch provider but on checking the information emailed over by the new supplier, I requested to cancel the switch. the customer service team were very helpful and even when the other provider became unhelpful switch me back at the current rate.

I find this company truly remarkable. My journey to 100Green began after my previous supplier increased my rates by 17%. When I tested the market, that supplier contacted me three separate times, eventually offering a rate even lower than my original price. I fundamentally disagree with that policy; as a loyal customer of four years, I should be offered the best price initially, not as a desperate attempt to prevent me from leaving.
Out of all the providers I considered, 100Green stood out. While their pricing wasn't the absolute lowest, it remained competitive and unusually, there was no financial penalty should I wish to leave my contract early. Crucially, their reviews suggested they were easily reachable by phone - a claim I have since verified to be entirely true.
Once I changed I reconsidered my attitude to smart meters. Because my apartment is roughly 70 yards from the meter cupboard, a normal In-Home Display (IHD) wouldn't function. However, because 100Green is so approachable, I agreed to the switch on one condition that they provide a working IHD using an ALT HAN (Alternative Home Network) system. I understand that in practice only a few suppliers will do so. 100Green agreed, and although the installation took longer than anticipated, it has been working perfectly for several weeks.
Throughout this process, I needed to call them several times. Each time, I was met with a polite, welcoming and knowledgeable person - not an ineffective chatbot, a "see website" brush-off, or even to consult a FAQ list on their website. In this digital age, such service is a rarity. I have no personal relationship with 100Green other than being a satisfied customer and it is a genuine pleasure to recommend them so highly.

Firstly 100 Green you get to talk to a real person straight away, no horrible menu to work through. For a period of time I had some bad experiences with fuel suppliers. After speaking to 100 Green and my contact ,a lady named Billie, I decided to change to them as my supplier. I have been so impressed with Customer Care and spoke with Billie about my specific needs , as i have health issues . She patiently listened and since then has gone over and above to ensure that,as there client, ime happy with there service.
