Now that AI slop has been banned the selection of models has become less bloated and i can actually find what i want

It was fine until now.... It is impossible to use it due to all the pop up commercials. Extremely irritating.

Never got a problem. One of the few 3d model websites that doesn't force you to pay or register to the mailing lists.

The admins don't give a crap. You can spend ages building up a community and then get banned by some idiot reporting you for no reason (maybe they're just jealous) and then you're presumed guilty and banned, without appeal. Nice, thanks guys.

What really grinds my gears is that I wasn't banned for copyright infringement (I don't think - because I wasn't using anyone's IP) and yet right now I can browse their site and right on the front page are TONS of models violating other company's IP anyway.

EDIT: Have no way to contact support - I tried that several times, months apart, and received no reply. You get nothing from me, mate. Boycotting your site because you're a bunch of liars.

Censorship run rampant. My most popular model for a model rocket was taken down, with no option to appeal, or review. One of the few things that had some popularity on my profile, and now losing that messes with my stats on the site. Someone clicks the report button? Guilty with no option to prove innocent.

The site is excellent for ideas for 3D printing, loads of tools, models, art projects etc. But it can be desperately slow, even with ad blockers and a Pihole. It's fairly painful to navigate and the search isn't best. Use it, but don't rely on it.

Great site for 3D design. I wish they would have categories defined. There is a lot of novelty stuff mixed in with designs that people are really looking for on a project. Adding a few categories to filter that out may help.

now, i know what your thinking "but the website is soooo slow" and what i say is just get a ad blocker, i use ublock and i never had a time where it was slow, i promise it will work, and if it dosent its your internet thats having problems, the only thing wrong with this website is i think it should remember what you click on and download so it will recommend to you what you clicked on, either way its one of the best websites next to tinkercad that you can use to download 3d prints

Part of Thingiverse since 2014. I liked the idea of what it stands for. After submitting over 300 models I left. The biggest problem for me is no communication with help center or anyone at all that works there. No reply on a few messages during this years that I send them.
It had a large potential, but never reached.

Poor stability, feels like a dialup website at times, ads overload without adblocker, currently a bot raid with porn ads we can't access profile of as it's a blank page getting spammed 10's of times a day with zero control over them and no feedback from the admins , and just an unpleasant experience apart from the models themself.

I give it 3 stars because of the content. The biggest problem is that it's slow. I found that if I install an add blocker, it speeds it up significantly. Its the only way that it has been usable. I know that sites make money with adds and it may not be possible to continue providing the site without them, but when the adds make the site unusable, it makes the content inaccessible anyway.

The other problem is the bugs. Customizer (among other things) is unusable at this point. Only a small section of the screen is active and its too small to use. I will try using IE but in chrome, it doesn't work.

To say that a website as great as this can't handle the traffic is shocking. They run lots of paid ads so can't be short of money?! Whats the problem with giving some of that to the web developers to sort this out. I myself have now been looking elsewhere for content since the thingyverse website is dire

Was always slow but they seem to have recently changed there website layout and it is now worse than ever. The page hardly every loads up so you have to keep refreshing it to try get it to work and also lots of the design files now seem to be missing.

There are many 3d templates to download. A really good site.
But please check your servers and extent your connection to europe. The site is really slow. Sometimes it takes minutes to download something. So i only could give 3 stars.

It gets 5 stars on everything but reply speed on support & server load speed. Here Thingiverse gets only a 4. But then again. They do got a massive user base. So maybe a 4.5.
As a good account holder, they offer the option to delete account, in plain sight, support is easy and straightforward, the overall user experience is downright amazing.

My favorite website with 3D models. Also I like that I don't have to own 3D printer and I can use Treatstock or 3D Hubs to print what I need
