FANTASTIC CENTRE, VERY NICE PEOPLE, DOCTORS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. HAD CATARACT SURGERY, WAITED 6 YEARS, FOR SECOND ONE BUT OPTITIONSON'S WOULDN'T REFER ME, THEN I HAD A LOCUM AND SHE PUT ME THROUGH FOR SECOND EYE. WHICH I GOT SENT TO SPAMEDICA, YOU ARE AMAZING.

My surgery was quick, efficient and successful.

The actual experience was very good. All staff were very friendly, professional and polite.
It was my second eye and this time a lot more liquid was used but I regarded that as a safety measure having had eye surgery many years ago
I did wait a long time for this cataract to be done but this was not the fault of Spa medica.

Arrived at Spa Medica at 08.20 for my right eye cataract operation.
The staff were very friendly and explained what would happen during the morning. Q who was the consultant doing the procedure was excellent explained what was happening also very caring. Thank you all. Lynn

The only area which did not impress me was the pre-op. There was too much waiting in the corridor between seeing various people and having the tests. Took 3 hours rather than one.
The actual surgery was very quick and very little hanging around. Wonderfully slick and polished routine.
All staff considerate, taking as much time as required. Excellent.

on 6th of june i had cataract surgery on my left eye, bolton the staff looked after me the whole time i was there. the operation only took 10 min no needles just drops, age 85 no problem. when ready i will have the other done. ps next day good vision.k parr

From my first pre op appointment to the surgery 3 days ago I can honestly say that the whole experience was so much better than when I had my first cataract surgery at a busy NHS hospital. The staff were without exception friendly, helpful and informative. The procedure was quick and painless and my sight is already improving rapidly with minimal discomfort. I’m grateful to my opticians recommendation to SpaMedica.

Spa Medica - Bolton excellent service both times would highly recommend them the teams on both occasions where marvellous put you at ease from the welcome arrival surgery to discharge and the wait time for the surgery was under four weeks.

I had my procedure today (12/5/26 for cataract, I attended spa medica, dalston, was petrified of what I was about to face, as soon as I walked through the door I had so much support and attention from everyone, the 2 doctors relayed everything to me as I went through the treatment, I cannot thank them enough for the warmth and kindness they had for me, I certainly won’t be afraid when I have to have the other eye done, top service and very friendly staff 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Very dissatisfied my wife had cataract removal 7 days ago and still blurred vision she went to specsavers and was told she needs emergency surgery at manchester eye hospital i told my wife not to have it done her vision was ok now she will be out of work for weeks or months and no sick pay I thinking of seeking legal advice

Very professional very pleasant reassuring staff ! The clinic is lovely and refreshments while you wait is quite pleasant . The team are highly knowledgeable and trained much nicer than a hospital . I would definitely recommend Spa médica

All the staff were extremely helpful and the waiting areas were comfortable and clean. The surgeon, 'Q' who did my operation was so good, he explained everything in detail as he went along and was very kind.

I was very very nervous about my first cataract operation, but everyone I saw at SpaMedica was so understanding and very reassuring. The procedure was just amazing, talked me through everything as it happened, couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you all so very much. Can’t wait to get the second eye done now.

I recently had cataract surgery on both of my eyes over an eight‑week period.
My first procedure went exactly to plan, and the care I received throughout was outstanding — calm, reassuring, and delivered with real professionalism.

My second surgery was just as caring and well supported, even when an unexpected complication arose. It was something that was not foreseen, and it became clear during the procedure that things had shifted slightly off‑plan.
In that moment, Mr (Dr) Qusay was exceptional. He had a choice: pause the surgery and delay my treatment, or take the more demanding route for himself and continue safely and precisely. He chose the path that spared me further inconvenience, and he did so with remarkable skill, confidence, and kindness.

I am deeply grateful for his expertise and for the whole SpaMedica team, whose warmth and professionalism shone through at every stage.

Spamedica Two Cataract Operations L + R Eyes.
First visited Spamedica on 19 Feb for assessment with regards my left,right eye cataracts.Very professional at Preston everyone was friendly & explained the procedures,& aftercare.My first cataract was at Preston 25th Feb,everything went well staff very professional & attentive.My second cataract was performed at Spamedica Oldham by Mr Kirti Jasani as it was thought they may be difficulties due to a childhood accident to my right eye.Mr Jasani was able to perform the procedure with no issues due to his high level of expertise & experience.
Have since made a full recovery,making sure to follow the Spamedica aftercare routine.My vision in both eyes is amazing even my bad right eye has better vision.
I want to thank all the staff,nurses & doctors at both Spamedica locations for there professionalism,attention to detail & Customer Focus.I was made at ease by the very friendly staff on both occasions.Would Highly Recommend Spamedica for cataract surgery.
