An easy way of saving and transferring money. Recommended

Quilter are reliable and efficient, no lengthy verbal or on-line interactions, communication is effective, they were recommended and they are living up to that recommendation.

Efficiency in the drawdown process for my Crystallised pension pot is A1

It was a very simple process with a very professional company. The approximate allows me access and all the information I require. So far it's been a seamless process and introduction.

Previously have given 5 stars over a number of years. This time Quilter staff were all really good, initially, but when it came to calculating very simple tax deductions / charges, they made a major error: charging 36% tax when it should have been 20% or less. This was a lot of money on tens of thousands of pounds. No one can explain what happened. Waited 13 days for a reply which did not explain the reason at all - so making a formal complaint, and if necessary also to the financial ombudsman.
Wasted time re-contacting Quilter (security questions), wasted lots of time calling and waiting for HMRC (long call line !), then time to search and fill out forms, and then wait 30 days to sort out and refund... HMRC advised it was Quilter's mistake.
Also continuous recent smaller issues with logging into Quilter account (re-captcha issues) and non-user friendly email encryption service.
Anyone can make a mistake.....but it is how a mistake is handled and followed up promptly on, that shows the level of service of a company !
My trust in their financial services has suddenly dropped off........

Never liked this company, invested for five years, five years of my retirement to loose 10 thousand pounds of the original investment, I have since recovered the loss in the twelve months that I have been with interactive investor ( Ii ) BEST OF THE BEST.

I find Quilter very good always well informed and thing's explained very cleanly and I have every confidence in them helpful knowledgeable and experienced, I feel I can trust them fully

A simple withdrawal was chaotic. Although my bank account was logged ( confirmed on 2 phone calls) the withdrawal page said it wasn't. When i tried to 'add a bank account' it said one was already logged. After 2 days i still await someone who has resolved this blockage.

I had a query about cash withdrawal from my pension, the lady I spoke to was polite, provided the reassurance and information I needed, and double checked everything I had entered on the form.

After 18 months dealing through our financial adviser we are very pleased with the investments performance and the handling of all transactions to date.
The advice on ISA investments has been extremely helpful.
The drawdown arrangements are excellent.
My only comment about information issues is the amount sent out could be reduced by summerising the transactions.
