I have two phone numbers with Lycamobile. On May 1st, I received my bill, and they overcharged me by a lot. I did not agree with the extra amount they charged. However, regarding Lycamobile, on the 14th I had to pay them the overcharged money first, intending to appeal it later. But on the morning of the 15th, I discovered they had charged an extra £5 to my credit card again. I have already requested the deletion of my credit card information in accordance with GDPR. If they do not delete it, I will hire a lawyer to handle this. It might sound a bit exaggerated, but it is no longer about the money; it is about how angry they have made me.

So far, so good. Once I decided to leave my previous mobile phone company, having been mugged off by them for years (my bad, I was stupidly loyal and then scared to change), I did an internet search and found Lyca. It looks like a great deal, time will tell. It was extremely easy to move, once I had decided. There was no drop of service at all. The communication was very good from first to last. And it's so cheap! I am giving them 5 stars based on that.

Take my advice and AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE :-) extremely poor service all around, plus Lyca mobile do not support MMS messaging, but fail to inform of this anywhere when signing up for a contract. In fact if you call customer support they'll advise you they DO support MMS and waste your time waiting for a tech help callback that never comes. It's only when you go to cancel they spill the beans. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! :-)

I cancelled my account in March 2026, but since then I’ve been getting repeated emails demanding payments of £3.26, £3.27, £6, and £12. Despite asking multiple times for my account to be closed, the payment requests keep coming.

I am new to lyca so wanted my existing number as my contract but I accidentally didn’t order the pack right so got a new number but Kenneth has fixed it for me . He told me what to do how I able to access my old number

SIM I got simply did not work. Texting and mobile data would not happen and I think I signed up for a contract without recieving any service so I will have to call the bank to cancel that. Customer service lines simply were not operational.

Worst network I have ever experienced, and I have been using mobile phones for over 25 years. Rubbish customer service. Even after leaving, continuously receiving emails regarding bills, despite calling them multiple times, staying on hold for hours. Each time told it is sorted, but it wasn't. Avoid at all costs.

Can never get support.. the live chat is an idiot AI that cannot do anything but wind you up and the customer service is a bunch of cretins that cannot speak a word of English causing CONSTANT language barriers.
All I wanted to do was port my number.... Way to lose a customer in 10 minutes.

I was not receiving any telephone calls at all so contacted customer services and was asked to supply telephone numbers of people who had not been able to call me. I refused to give them my friends' numbers and so they refused to help with the problem. I then asked for a PAC code as I had been unable to get one by sending a message as advised. They again refused to give me a PAC code as I had incorrectly answered a sercurity question. It turned out that they had my DOB incorrectly entered on their system. After a very lengthy time and frustration I was eventually given the code.
Overall they were very unhelpful.

The support from this company is not just poor, it’s outrageous. I have used Voxi before so I was ready to wait a bit longer on a line but in case of Lyca mobile you are moved between departments and after that asked to write an email to which they do not respond.
I tried to move to Lyca but my sim card never came. I called them 3 times to try to order a new one but every phone call lead to nothing. In the end I asked to cancel my contract but they answer to my emails with AI written instructions and never cancel in the end. They are planning to charge me as on their system my contract has started and now I cannot move to another provider as I need a PAC number from them. Basically they stole my number.
I understand that this operator is cheaper but I don’t think it is worth the price if things like that can happen

Unlimited Data £12.50. However, my sim card has been blocked by Lyca for using TOO MUCH data. When I rang them up they said I had used 295GB of data which is excessive. I advised them it's because I have NO INTERNET and had connected my PS5 up to it. It took a further phone call before I was then told to email cs@lycamobile to inform them that I am not using it for business purposes and I should expect a response in FIVE TO SEVEN WORKING DAYS. Absolute shambles of a company. Don't go with Lyca.
Update: Since LycaMobile have replied and confirmed they have my details, I can confirm that as of 13/05/2026 I have NO INTERNET ACCESS.

I was very disappointed with your customer service.
I recently moved to the UK and needed a new number and after speaking to two different consultants, I was still not able to get the Lyca number working.
I then went to another service provider and within 15 minutes I had a new number that worked and wifi at home. I will not be recommending your company to anyone.
