These people are 100% misleading and putting false advertisement on people's report for instance I have progressive insurance it costs me $350 a month they credit karma put good news progressive insurance would be $89 you go to progressive and fill out everything and they tell you contact your agent price is not $89 or The funniest thing is credit card your 100% chance of getting approved off course it's secured a blind man can know they getting approved especially when you giving them money and paying $95 or $125 a year just to have their B's card you know it's about money and credit karma recommending things that cost shit loads of money their not doing anyone a favor their in it for the money!!!
Credit Karma is the worst
Credit Karma is the worst. I can no longer login because I have a new phone number and their support will not update it for me. If I could give 0 stars I would.
They owe me $50 due to their credit…
They owe me $50 due to their credit carma guarantee program. Every time I email them to ask for an update, they send me a boilerplate reply like "no updates yet, we'll let you know as soon as we have an update".
The worst
The worst. I have been locked out of my account for months, I continue to get emails about changes in my account and can get no help from the support. Their website is buggy, their phone app is buggy. Even after you verify your identity they bring you back to square one where you were having issues logging in. Doesn’t make any sense. The worst company for customer service. Posting poor reviews until someone finally helps me.

I’d give them a minus 5 star if it were available.
Customer support is literally non existent. I utilize the cash flow feature for budgeting purposes. My credit cards, bank etc have been connected since the MINT days.
Over the past 3+ months I’ve noticed on numerous occasions that the system would reclassify my accounts even after I went in and made the appropriate change. Initially it would accept my change then I’d go back to review hours/day later and it would revert to a classification that I never assigned.
Additionally it would state for example I had spent $800 for groceries in August however when you add up the individual purchases it was only $650. This type of situation happens regularly with no real pattern of why.
INTEGRITY of the system is worthless. Customer service never emails back a solution.
Bring back MINT. Worthless as currently designed
It's like taking advice from a known lunatic
Site frequently gives advice which brings forth massive credit score hits. Claims cards, like Wells Fargo, have outstanding odds and after applying odds change to fair. It's like taking advice from a known lunatic.
will not be using again they are…
will not be using again they are sketchy as crazy they try to say a debt when that was already paid off they are not up to date when any of your information there's better apps out there
$50 Guarantee
CK has a guarantee of $50 if you apply for a loan or credit card, and you are turned down. The $50 is reliant on CK's GUARANTEE of acceptance.
I applied for a loan that I was guaranteed to get, according to CK, but I was denied. I applied for the $50 guarantee and was denied.
Terrible banking and customer service
Terrible banking and customer service. Credit Karma closed my account without any heads-up and wouldn't allow me to reopen it. Support only made it worse. A rep named Josue U. kept me on chat for ages, repeatedly promising he could fix the issue and get my account running again. Instead of actually helping, he eventually admitted he couldn't do anything and told me I was out of luck. They fail to communicate with their customers, ignore their own policies, and string you along with false promises. Bank elsewhere
They Breech Your Data
Intuit Credit Karma send me an email that stated:
"It looks like your Credit Karma account was just accessed from a new device."
I didn't access it. You cannot get ahold of a human being at this company. Their phone number puts you through to an AI bot that does NOTHING. I insisted that all of my data be removed from their databases through the time wasting chat, and they refuse to do it. Turn and run from these incompetent imbaciles. They'll do damage to you, not help you.
Knowingly sending emails with bogus info
They send emails with false info to get you to go to the app or site to check, to artificially pump their user numbers. This is a fraudulent company, stay far away from them.
A fraudster open an account with this…
A fraudster open an account with this organization under my name. I contacted that immediatlety to close the account. They refused to do that without me providing my social security number which I refused to do. They subsequently sent me a debit care to access this account. I again asked them to delete the account without me providing them with more info. I again refused to provide them any information other that the account number info on the debit card They claimed that was insufficient info to. find that account. I do not trust this org at all and suggest the others BEWARE
Disgusting Email Subject Line
Deleted Credit Karma today after receiving an email with the subject line "Your account will be reported soon—take action" I immediately freak out and make sure my minimum payment on my credit card went through and checked my report to make sure there wasn't anything in collections. Just to learn the email was announcing to its users that they now know when your credit card reports to the major bureaus. As a business specializing in CREDIT they have 0 business using a subject line like that to hook you into reading further. They aren't selling clothes or food or whatever else, they are a FINANCIAL service. Absolutely 0 care for its customers.
Did the prequalify app had a hard pull
Did the prequalify app had a hard pull. Pulls up all these offers then at the end I’m denied. What a waste of time.
25% interest loans are scams
Credit Karma has the audacity to recommend loan companies at 19-26% as if they are helping anyone? There are real debt consolidation programs out there. They are obviously more driven by advertising dollars than good valuable services and there is no way to get in touch with their team to close your accoung or remove your information. ( or at least, its not readily available or clear for an average user.).
They do not honor their promises
Through many suggestions and recommendations from family and friends, I installed the app and signed up for Credit Karma and have been using them for a very short time. I will be cancelling my account as of today and having nothing to do with them here on out once I am done with this review.
I applied for a loan, to which I have screenshots of everything, because I KNEW it was too good to be true when I read the terms. The terms stated that if you do NOT get the promised terms to the loan or if the financial institution changes the loan in any way that was worse than what you applied for, then Credit Karma would give you 50 dollars. They refused to honor this promise, so now I am posting here and will be posting to the BBB for an obvious scam.
Not only that, but as I was typing my response to the LIVE individual I was chatting with, after she stated that I received a better offer, which it was not (the loan promised 4000 dollars at 19.99%, I was given 3000 dollars at 24.49%... tell me how that is a BETTER offer!!!) she ended up closing the chat immediately after posting her response. I couldn't offer my screenshot evidence, which I do have, or my rebuttal.
This was extremely unprofessional, and this proves that the 50 dollar promise was a scam that they offered only to get you to apply and get a hard hit on your credit score. If I were you, stay very clear of Credit Karma. They are the WORST credit company I have ever used and I will be deleting my account with them as I don't do business with scammers and unprofessional hacks such as them.
Used to be good
Used to be good, but simply changing my phone number cannot be done without a chat with someone who hands you to some or disconnects you. Then you have to be handed off to a specialized support member who then says we will contact you by email! No live phone support. I should have control over MY account, and be able to update MY personal info. So whoever has had my old phone number is getting texts and can access MY credit information! Probably why 3 of my cards got hacked and had fraudulent charges last month or so.then because I complained they reduced my credit 3 pts. By changing the age of my credit...do not use this horrible service for anything.
I truly believe Credit Karma is deceptive and dishonest in order to make money.
I truly believe what Credit Karma does is fraudulent. Credit Karma gets people to apply for loans or credit cards with outstanding approval odds which I believe to be a complete lie. So they make me hurt your credit score with hard inquiries, when in actuality you have 0 approval odds, not outstanding. They have all these partners that give loan offers and credit card offers on Credit Karma, they say your odds for approval are above excellent, that you have outstanding approval odds, then you get approved for 0. Then Credit Karma gets paid by these partners and you end up with a lower credit score affecting your odds for an approval somewhere else. The only way I see and truly believe, it is deception and fraudulent. I don't believe it is anything else. Hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.
whatever you do don't change your phone number!
I enjoyed keeping up on my credit, but recently lost my phone number of 12 years and had to get a new one. the process to change my phone number on their website is practically non-existent and will lock you in a loop. they apparently don't care. there are no live people to talk to they keep sending a code to a number that doesn't exist anymore. an Experian does the same thing. it's a shame they lost a long time customer. it's pathetic I can close my account but I can't change my phone number
