for a long time I have used your company, with excellent customer services and service, but due to O2 AND 3 NOT PROVIDING THE SERVICES THEY SAID ,I TOOK THEM TO THE OMBUDSMAN, BUT THEY SOLD THE ACCOUNT BEFORE ANYTHING COULD BE DONE,
and it as blacked my credit, but I have since paid the out standing balance on all , so hope we could do business again soon ,thank you

Good Rates but if you have a problem and want to talk to anyone don't bother. Hours on hold and then the phone just disconnected. The customer service only work Monday to Friday. That's if you can even get through.
They send messages through a secure portal because their system is having issues so are unable to ring out !!! I don't believe that for a minute. These messages get read eventually and it appears to me all they do is protect their partner dealers. My vehicle was gone for 47 days after it caught on fire within 300 miles of collection from BINCA and I looked to them for help as yet still to be concluded. If you are expecting any understanding as a disabled person these are the wrong people to deal with as talking to a human being is in my experience impossible.

Put people in customer service who work on telephone lines , someone who the customer can understand their accent.
First time calling today, with a general query, shocked and depressed. Foriegn lady, could nt understand her, straight wanted to know numbers this and that .
Tell them to say good morning how can I help you?

As anyone can see , this is around the 5th or 6th BAD review i have given this diabolical thieving company, look at their answer to my last review, "we will reach out to you monday" hahaha they rang me, without a clue as to what was going on or how they had treat me, the woman had no idea what had happened, no resolution to the money they owe me, just lies and incompetence again, i said before, i really dont know how this company is in business, or how the liars and incompetents they employ manage to keep their jobs, what a disgraceful company, with no managers and it seems no one apart from south african sounding women, who couldnt care less, and who lie everytime they open their mouths,who should be sacked they are so out of touch with what they are supposed to be doing, DO NOT USE THESE LYING IMBERCILES FOR CREDIT, YOU WILL ONLY BE SIGNING IP FOR A MASSIVE HEADACHE AND DAILY LIES, INCOMPETENCE , AND BEING ROBBED BLIND,

I am absolutely enraged by how Close Brothers Motor Finance handled my situation, and I’m writing this to warn anyone considering signing a finance agreement with them.
From the very beginning, the finance agreement was set up incorrectly. I purchased a company car, everything was under the company name, yet the finance agreement itself was put in my personal name. Because of this mistake, payments could not be collected properly from the business account.
Every single month the payment bounced back, and I had to manually chase and sort it myself. I contacted them multiple times trying to resolve the issue, only to eventually be pushed into their complaints department because apparently nobody else could fix it.
To be fair, the woman handling the complaint was polite and apologetic. She assured me several times that while the complaint was being investigated, this situation would NOT affect my credit score. The investigation dragged on for weeks, with long gaps between responses, and they even compensated me £50 acknowledging the mess they had created. I was also advised to set up a standing order instead because they admitted they could not properly fix the account setup.
However, despite being reassured my credit file would not be impacted, my credit score still dropped by 32 points because of THEIR error.
But it gets worse.
Once the complaint was “resolved” on their side, I made a double payment to cover two months exactly as instructed in their email. Later I discovered the payment had apparently gone into some sort of holding account and was never correctly allocated. Instead of identifying this themselves, they continued marking my account as being in arrears.
Today I then received another phone call telling me I was behind on payments — despite the money being paid weeks ago.
The level of incompetence, stress, and poor internal communication has been unbelievable. I have spent countless hours chasing issues that were entirely created by their own incorrect setup and administration failures.
Avoid if you can.

I purchased a car and used close brothers to finance the vehicle. Within the first month a significant engine fault occurred and the car had to be returned. Close brothers were so slow to respond everything was left to me to sort out. They still own me a months premium that was paid but they are now saying the account is zero and no refund is showing. I would use caution when buying a car as if there is a fault they do not do what is legally required of them. I would not recommend or use them again as I have had such a bad experience. The staff cannot do anything, I keep getting a stock response that everything seems to take 4-5 days. I was even told that is I failed to make a payment I would incur a penalty even though the finance had been unwound and settled. Not a very good company if things go wrong.
