Wilsonart Alloy splashbacks are a con
Wilsonart Alloy splashbacks are a con! Yes, they can go directly behind a gas hob but, in the small print after sale, you need to have a glass splashback on top for times when you use a saucepan without a lid. So pay more for the splashback in the first place and then have to fork out extra for a glass one. Stick with non-alloy - more choice and cheaper! And when I complained to B&Q, they ignored my complaint for a year and wouldn't allow me to write a review.

Ordered a washing machine, they gave me a delivery date and they emailed day before saying the courier will give me a three hour window which they did and phoned me a half hour before delivery perfect even thow machine was faulty one phone call and a replacement was delivered perfect transition, well done 👏

Worst customer service ever
Worst customer service ever, I made appointment with a designer for a new bathroom. We spent the time and I paid in full for it there and then. One glasss panel was not in stock but they said I would get a same price and had already paid delivery. They emailed to say part was in so rang to order. They said I had to pay delivery again? They would refund this though within three days, weeks after waiting for panel and still am no part and no refund of delivery. Many hours on phone should be getting part tomorrow but no refund as yet for delivery. The wet walls arrived over a week ago, they were turned away at door and told to take back as the first two they tried to bring in were clearly well damaged so no use. We were told priority call back. This has never happened we have had to ring daily for hours so asked for refund. Was supposed to be escalated to management and refund today. What a shock no refund and no call so hours on phone again to be told ring back tomorrow it may or may not be sorted. DO NOT BUY from here the full thing is a total farce and customer service have no idea or cut you off, total shambles will never buy from them again whenever this gets sorted. Workmen cancelled 😡 so will have to wiat and try and rebook.

I had a new Neff microwave on the 6th of June that arrived damaged. This is accepted but 4 weeks later despite daily emails, I still do not have a replacement or date when it will be replaced.
I have emails form different people every day but with no direct number and just a standard B&Q email address.
A complete shambles and frustrating experience that is ongoing.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received. My order has now been delayed for two weeks, and despite contacting customer service severally, I still cannot get a clear answer about when it will arrive.
Base on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I hope they improve their customer service and communication with customers.

Offer sign vanished during a pricing dispute
I visited B&Q Coleraine on Sunday to buy Dulux Weathershield paint for my garage project. There was a sign in the paint department advertising 3 x 10L Dulux Weathershield products for £95 with a TradePoint card.
I waited around 10 minutes for a member of staff in the paint department to arrive and get the paint down for me. I then took the three tins to the checkout, but they scanned at a much higher price than the advertised offer.
A manager (or someone who appeared to be a manager) came over and was polite and genuinely tried to resolve the issue. He asked me to show him where the promotional sign was. However, when we returned to the paint aisle, the sign had disappeared.
Confused, I asked the member of staff in the paint department whether she had removed the sign a few minutes earlier. She said she had, but then claimed she couldn't find it to show the manager. Given that it had only just been taken down, I found this difficult to believe.
The manager handled the situation professionally, but the overall experience was disappointing. Customers should be able to rely on advertised pricing, and promotional signs shouldn't disappear just as a pricing query is being investigated.
This is a pity as I have previously had positive experiences with members of staff in B&Q Coleraine before which made me return.
