Paid £5 for a sim, then could use it, topped it up for 5 and still couldn't use it. I would rather give that £10 for charity than usless sim. and acually, I still was without sim cause it didn't worked. anything is better than asda mobile.
One of the managers done my colleague 50 GB for £5 as I couldn't do it online but she was very helpful and done everything for me and kept me updated.

Might be cheaper, but....
After starting a new contract with Asda Mobile. . Im Now three weeks without a service connected to my phone. Asda mobile have somehow lost the pac number after claiming it from EE which they confirm was sent to them. On the 29 Sept. and has now expired so cannot transport my old number. To their service Number lost. !! Sim card sent with the wrong phone number attached. So they didnt connect it at best Customer services just keep saying sorry then and they will get back to me. Then just ignore the issues, This company is inept in every way. Ive now asked to cancel my contract with them. Surprisingly no reply. Deal at your peril.
As suggested in the reply they wont resolve the issues. suggesting I had given the wrong PAC code info. Which when given to them was 100% correct. So the are deceitful as well. Wish I'd never heard of Asda Mobile

I switched from giff gaff /02 network as my data was not good enough . After switching to Asda network . I've found the data is just as bad . Disappointed in data being received in the ka13 7at area. I am standing at my front door to get a signal now ! Speed is 2.7 mb ps . Simply not good enough . I think I'll be switching again .

I was initially a little apprehensive about switching to Asda Mobile, but after comparing their SIM-only plans, I decided to give them a try. I’m genuinely impressed!
The prices are extremely competitive, 5G coverage has been absolutely fine for me, and the reassurance of no annual price increases linked to RPI is a real bonus.
After a couple of months of positive experience, I felt confident enough to transfer all three of my mobile numbers to Asda Mobile. So far, so good!
Excellent value for money and a very happy customer. Highly recommended. Keep up the good work, Asda Mobile!

Its a shame I've had to give 2 stars as last week it would have been 1. As a new connection I did my bit and gave my pac code. I opted for an esim. Long story short I was disconnected for 2 full days. I had made 2 phone calls to find out what was happening. The first person said they'd call me back, but obviously was unable to as I was disconnected. The following day when I called again, the second person said they could see what was wrong, they would sort it their end and I would receive a text to activate. I had a couple of welcome emails but no text. The next day the third said to delete everything , take out the old sim and start again, which is what I did. 30 minutes later I was up and running. Why this wasn't recognised 2 days earlier ?
On a positive it's only been a week but no problems and stable.

Robbed me of £22 for a number that no longer exist 😭

Easily the worst customer support experience I have encountered. The backend seems completely disconnected, with rude Vodafone reps operating behind an Asda badge who even had the audacity to ask for my account login credentials over plain email—a massive security and compliance red flag.
To make matters worse, despite their online coverage map claiming full connectivity in my area, I cannot receive a reliable signal where I live. Trying to cancel within my statutory 14-day cooling-off period has been made needlessly difficult. Save yourself the headache and steer clear.

Very simple to change from 3 to Asda Mobile, took longer than expected to get original number changed over but no drama really.

The whole experience was a very, very disappointing.
I've transferred one number to Asda around two years ago and got new number from Asda (two numbers both with unlimited calls and text messages, only difference data allowance) Everything was quite OK, Sim card not working from time to time or no signal. But it happens even with the biggest providers. We did not complain. Unfortunately in July the sim stopped working, my husband could receive calls, but was unable to use data, make phone calls or send text messages. We assumed first that he used all his monthly data allowance and maybe there is problem with his phone. We bought him new phone, the problem was still there, he used WiFi and home and as we work from home we didn't notice that his data doesn't work. I've contacted customer service on 24th August to add more data allowance and check if they know what can cause the problem (phone, maybe new sim card would fix that etc). To my huge surprise I've been told that that number was blocked by security team mid July due to it being used in scam. No phone call, no email, no letter, no text message asking to contact them or to warn us that his number has been used in some unlawful matter. I was told over the phone that they can't help me and I was given some number to call to unblocked the number. Unfortunately it was just answer machine where you had to leave your details and wait foe them to call back. I called 4 times, left my details and guess what, nothing. No one called me back. I won't lie I wasn't comfortable to leave my details to some random number (name, address, contact number etc). No action taken by Asda. Since then Asda still charged my card 3 times knowing that number has been blocked and there is no way of using it. They knew I've spoken with customer service, I've notified them of some sort of issue we're having with this number and they did nothing. But still charged me. I've phoned customer service again today and thankfully finally spoken to a lady who tried to help, I can't remember her name but she tried everything. She told me they have 14 WORKING DAYS to fix that ussue, which is OUTRAGEOUS. She managed to fast track us and hopefully this will be sorted way ealier, but I'm very disappointed with the whole experience. I don't think I will recommend Asda Mobile to anyone and I'm considering moving business to other provider once the number is unblocked, as I don't feel they did everything to protect their customer and informed us that this number was used in scam.

I wanted a 12 month contract on 3 gb
Firstly I was told i needed a pay as you go sim at asda ipswich which turned out to be the wrong advice
Then when I found the above out I purchased a 12 month contract sim which arrived through the post which turned out to be the wrong advice as i was then told I need not need another sim and my payg sim which then had my old number pac to it would be ok
then I tried to do a 12 monthly contract on you system and was told how to convert my payg to contracy
Great i thought at last 6 days from starting this, then I set up all the accounts asked for and the system told me great all done accounts linked only to find I could not get from check out to proof of ID it was a loop which an adviser said Asda knew of this gliche in your system
And that is where we are I am topping up a payg hoping in the future i can change it to a 12 month contract
If all your advisers sang of the same hymn shhet it might help instead of all having there interpredation of how things should work
Perhaps if you look at my records of what went on it might make this clearer
Mike
